Your dog needs to know it’s name and one command. “NO” !!! which translates to… STOP whatever it is it’s doing… AND SIT… IMMEDIATELY! This one command will protect you… your dog… and everything else… 99% of the time. After that everything else is fluff.

Im not a dog trainer. I just grew-up with dogs and other pets all my life. Your food- based "reinforcement" method is absolutely crap. There is food in the bowl ... a treat.. baked bone or a cooked kidney.... whatever....I totally disagree with your methodology.
GEZUS Christ...... The dogs have all the food they want. They are 7 and 15 years old. They are age weight appropriate.. They just dont ⁷care about the food. They want me to go to the beach....
If I have to go away for the day, I come home,; they attack me, I check thier food... They havent eaten anything.... So, you are 100% wrong. Dont train dogs with food. Food should be a given. Train them with love and attention. My 2 old dogs would rather go to the beach than eat a steak.

Yeah give them loads of crap food and treats it will definitely help... better yet actually give a shit about your dogs health and quit stuffing them full of trash kibble that's not any good for them at all. Do your research. But most of all do NOT go back and forth between raw food and kibble. Your dog shouldn't poop out large amounts because that's telling you that their body didn't soak in almost anything from the garbage kibble ( including blue Buffalo and Rachel Ray. They are not any better. Everything after the word salt is 1%.. Tom davis has a awesome podcast with a lady who is leading the push to feed out dogs food that's good for them. If your feeding them food that's good for them they shouldn't have much poop when they go potty.

just starting the video, ive had my baby girl 2 weeks, i first taught her ah! means no, stop it. i then taught her sit, and most recently ive taught her "watch it" before i throw a toy for her, she loves that.

My only dilemma is that I prefer not to use a clicker. Simply because I’m forgetful and I don’t believe I would be able to continuously train in that way (because I’ve lost the clicker lol). Do you feel like it makes it easier on the pup? Or would a recall word, different clicking noises from mouth, and words like good boy and yes work as well? Training very cute and smart Multipoo please help lol

Hi, I'm happy to have found your videos! I have just adipted a 10 wk. old chihuahua who was orphaned at about 1 - 2 wks. I started with your 'guide to puppy training' as she already has some behaviours that need addressing before they are firmly established: i.e. biting faces, chewing fingers, untieing shoe laces, etc.! . I'm not familiar with terms such as click, mark, recall word, cue, etc., so it's hard to understand all the tips. Do you have a video that covers these training techniques/words so I can get more out of this puppy video, please? Thank you.
