This is the best explanation of how to do this. I was gonna make a tutorial myself, but he’s the first person that walks you through it slow enough that I don’t think it’s necessary.

Omg I opened it. Thank you so much. It was lying since 3 years. The L shape didn't work for me. I cut it out straight and folded and made it the bottle shape. Can't thank you enough. There were other videos I watched and it didn't work. This was bang on.

May I add mostly patience you have to be patient cuz I tried this method three different times and I was pressing too hard and got frustrated once you let go you'll figure it out

I changed combination but forgot to set the reset button back to A position. Help, won't open at all

Excellent tutorial! I have an older version that doesn’t have the word “lock” under “Master.” It only took two number rolls instead of three after identifying the low spot. Now, instead of hiding my key inside, I’m planning to place a treasure hunt map with riddles leading to where I’ll actually hide the key. LOL.

Took me just a few minutes and it works! If there's anything I would add to the instructions is when the shim is on the right number, you can easily move it up and down. When it's on a wrong number, the shim resists. Thanks!

I ordered this for a spare key for my house to put it in there and hang it somewhere around my house soon as I get it from Amazon return it quick

I had one of these lying around for about 20 years but had forgotten the combination. I have a few properties now and thought it would be nice to use this to leave a key for contractors or if I need to leave a key in a hurry and then have a friend check on my pets or something. I just went by feel and used the numbers that had the most “play”. It took about 3 tries. Maybe I just got lucky. But now I want to find a soda can and try this method, just to know how! I looked at a property about a year ago and it had some kind of digital code. The listing realtor gave the code to my realtor, but it didn’t work. She called him and he gave it again, but it just wouldn’t work, I think he ended up coming out and figuring it out.

We have to also burp for it to work?

I can’t believe I did it!! After I got all the numbers to move the shim that wasn’t it. I moved them all up by 1 until it opened I think it was 2 above the original numbers

unreal...first I tried with a Arizona Tea can, but the material was likely to soft. So, I cut a piece of plastic from the original Master Lock packaging, and ba boom. It worked the first time. Thanks so much!

It worked. Fabulous. I tried first with different type of material to do the shimmy but it they didn't hold up. I then found a can and followed your instructions to the a new shimmy. It took me 10 minutes to get it opened. Had to do it twice to be sure. I added 3 numbers and wallah! It opened. And just happed the combination I did not remember it. Thank you for so clear illustrations. ❤ I almost removed the knob. 😅
