Looking forward to the axe review. Any back injury concerns with rigging it horizontally back there?

Not sure if it was mentioned, but how much of the gear you used was purchased yourself vs received promotionally?

Chuck's accuracy standards are tough. Reinforced the opinion that I suck. I was shooting a Staccato with RMR and good ammo, so the failure was all mine. Good class and great guy, highly recommend. I'm glad you go to train with him. Didn't you used to be on LF forums?

Thanks for the Vid! What do you think of the SXLC? I have one and find it pretty low back pressure but the sound suppression isn’t very good at all.

I have been using the Omnivore for years. It is the Glock of holsters.

Tier One concealed has an MSP OWB holster that will work with most pistols because it indexes on the light like a Surefire x300u

So like yourself I prefer and have used Safariland holsters over 15yrs mainly for work but also use them for training or comp. Though but I had similar issue at time i switched to a sig P320 Xfive Legion 5" barrl Sig had a X5 Carry 4.7” barrel either was I didn't like other holsters and had to order a modified one from RDR Gear which is great (not a huge deal but I do wish I would of bad it wrapped) I saw the Blackhawk listed on Amazon but its for a Streamlight TLR-1 HL what makes me giggle is it legit says it secures the light so as long you have that light mounted it fits & i maxe the mistake of answering someone's question but at least once a week someone ask if it will fit their pew. Think af time it was round $40 and I ordered one for Surefire and like you mentioned it has quirks but one the better universal holsters also the release is sort of like the ALS nub. But usually if going to a multi day class I will toss it in the range bag as a b/u or someone needs a holster. Though I think we have similar backgrounds i have had my fair share of injuries until I had a line of duty related one that ended all the cool guy stuff.

As for the battle axe it actually made me giggle I picked up a Toor Knife on clearance @ a uniform store as I wanted to have have a multi purpose fixed blade on my belt recently I was on their site and they have a mini axe think OAL is 11" & was like how can I run this though not very practical it just looked wicked and it was much shorter than my Skallwag Boarding Axe which I used to have mounted on rear of my vest when worked as a tac medic for Sheriff's Dept.

Lastly do you have any issues with the Acro or Red Optics in I developed a stigmatism after one of my TBI's thought I had no other option even with my glasses on was liftle fuzzy but few yrs ago learned about green optics and how they work better for with stigmatisms & other eye sight issues. i am going to look into those eye pro as I like them than way better than the BCG's currently use lol .

Great video

I wonder if the barrel locking screws got out of spec somehow and that affected the accuracy at all

Woman on the course, is that becoming more common? Hope so. I would think pistol course it would be. From what I could see she looked pretty switched on, I guess a professional.

I love my Walther PDP. I’ve got a 1.0 optic cut 4” Compact. One of the biggest downsides to the pistol is the stupid proprietary magwell/baseplates bullshit. I only run Walther mags for that reason. I’d like to get some of the ZR Tactical base plates for the 18 round Walther mags that make them fit the Compact, but I’m skeptical they’ll work with my setup.

Great video, Ivan. Glad to see I’m not the only one experiencing that particular issue.
