Many people never get out of vacation mode. "Let's go here, let's go there", always driving, never sitting.

I didn’t buy a rv to travel but to keep it stationary. It’s more enjoyable and cheeper . But your able to move your home if you have to..

I already live in my semi pretty much 24/7 i just want somewhere cozier to lay rest. And i feel like digging a grave may be my cheapest option. Jk jk. But for realz the the camper and camping segment has been going crazy the past few years. I dont even see any large school buses unmodified under 25k.without it looking like a rust bucket for 10k

I'd go RVing if I had someone to share the experience and responsibilities with. I cannot imagine camping by myself.

I keep thinking I should build a budget semi off road camper van that's as "Off grid" as possible. The reasoning for this isn't because I want to go out and live the adventurous lifestyle all the "Van life"/"RV life" type channels are pushing though. It's because I can see a time soon where it could be advantageous if I was able to just pack up and get the hell away from everyone for a couple of years to go live on the side of a deserted mountain.

It looks like there's more than a few countries right on the brink of economic collapse at the minute, and once a couple of them fail it could domino and take others down too. People can get pretty uncivilised once there's no food in the supermarkets and the electricity supply stops working, then the "Haves" who are hunkered down in their well stocked and solar powered homes could start to be seen as sitting targets for the "Have nots". I just feel that having the ability to bug out at short notice and get the hell away from society while it deals with the more violent aspects of falling apart could be a useful option to have if the very worst of the worst case scenarios were unfortunately to materialise............ And best case is that the world stops following the path it's going down, everything works out, and I'd still have a camper van to use for the occasional holiday.

My in-laws were in the RV business for over 35 years and was over and over the in the top 10 tier Jayco dealer seller! RVing is like everything there are those that are trend-driven which are typically some of the loudest mouth people that get the platform...but once the new becomes old then they feel life for everyone is fed up with in this case RVing, but the truth is the opposite. There are people always that are in for the wrong reason! RVing isn't dying and never will!!!

For what an RV cost just in fuel per day, you could stay at a nice motel.

RV parks are so expensive to stay at now days. I live in an RV park as a permanent resident just out side the park itself, the rent is going up because of inflation. Now, the spots for a month inside the park are get this $1,600 a month that is out of reach for a lot of people.

i sincerely dislike the clickbait content creators. I was following them and at first they were just normal lesbian couple, but they didn't post their title as such, after a few month u see in their hashtags lesbian.... Afterward... the started to clickbait like "we leaving van life"... nope they were doing something else. I really did like their show, but i don't want to hear that if i don't like it don't watch it they wered deliberalty creating something for others to watch. Noth something for their own self.

You guys stay true. I've been following Slim Potatehead and i always wish he would get sponsor or as for patron etc.... but he never does and thou i want him to be able to do more it wouldn't be him and i think the quality of his content would suffer.

Not everyone is quitting. Truth is most rvers last 6-8 years before they get bored and buy a house again. It’s a cycle. In reality there are more rvers than ever now
