Hi! Do you start crumbcoating the cake while it´s frozen or should it be at room temp?

I have only one question. Doesn't the cake sweat once you remove it from the refrigerator? Thanks again. It's a really helpful video!

Does freezing taste the same as freshly baked? What about baking 2 days ahead, do you freeze?

I tried finding somewhere that could make my son's "first trip around the sun" cake. And I'm too picky. I wanted something unique and made just for him. SOO I'm just taking it on myself because it'd be what I want. I'm already doing his whole party myself. Balloon arch, decorations, food, I even rented a vacation rental to be able to house family comfortably. So this will be nice in the kitchen I will have access to, and with my timeline. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Thank you! This is so helpful. I always end up pulling all-nighters to get the cake done because:
- I want it to taste fresh
- I’ve never really known how to bake or make decorations in advance so they’re good on the day
- I always take on too much and am time poor as a result.
I’ve sent this video to myself as a reminder. Thanks 😊🧁

Great video! Can you attach hard fondant decorations to a buttercream cake in advance? If so should the buttercream be fresh or set and how do you attach the decorations? And then how do you store the cake once the decorations have been added? 😊

HELP PLEASE…. How far in advance can I make fondant stripes to put on the side of a buttercream frosted cake needed 6 days from now? I’m so new at this that I don’t wanna leave it till the last minute. Should I try to keep the stripes soft or let them dry? I hope I get to you in time for this question.
So Sorry about that. I just wanted you to see my plea for help. I’m so so happy that I found your channel! I’m kind of a beginner at this decorating thing lol! I am making a jack Skellington cake for my granddaughter’s birthday on Saturday and was stressing about decorating it at the last minute as I’m not free on the Friday. I’ve already baked my cake and frozen the layers but I am frosting with buttercream and always have a struggle with the final layer even though I crumb coat. I’m trying to keep it simple ha ha! I’m just making the cake round for the face and frosting with buttercream but I am putting fondant stripes down the side and will need to make them a few days in advance. I’ve seen a few of your videos and I’ve subscribed right away because I love your style of teaching. Thank you so much for all that you do for us🤗💕

Interesting that you suggest chilling the unboxed cake in the fridge. Do you not get condensation when taking it from the fridge? And if you do how do you deal with that. Thank you.
