No one mentioned Eric Godard beating his ass and bloodying him 🤷♂️
ОтветитьTotal badass. Used to live near me out here when he played for Philly, really nice guy. Unless you f-ed with his teammates. Then not so nice.
ОтветитьI like watching the best of mindless people!
ОтветитьBashear was the best at grabbing a players jersey with both hands next to the players neck and then giving a quick tug to get his opponent off balance and then let the punches fly fast.
ОтветитьWhy no T domi, they've battled many times!
ОтветитьBrash was the one player every other team's fans hated but when he was on your team he was a treasured member .
Ответитьthey should retire #87 league wide in honor of donald brashear.
ОтветитьDomi next
ОтветитьAnd he still playing at 52 years old for the Marquis de Jonquiere LNAH
ОтветитьOne of the best. Also one of the most boring. Always went for the hug. I don't blame him for doing whatever he had to do in order to win fights. But, not the most entertaining.
ОтветитьBrashear was a big intimidating man but all he would do is hold
ОтветитьNothing better than when Brash was playing in Vancouver, he was a beast for a few years there.
ОтветитьHuggy bear
ОтветитьDraw vs nazarov
Ray was washed up
Loss vs Godard
Win over middleweight Downey
Dropped by laracque
Win over Orr
Win over Neil
Draw vs Thornton
Draw vs shelley
Win over Cote
5-2-3
I still remember McSorely hitting Brashear with his stick , cheap shot laid Brashear out on the ice.
ОтветитьOld huggey Bear just wanted to hug, not even close in top 10 tough guys odjick McCarthy Probert twisted even Barnaby beat his ass
And for a nice guy
Wrong, he's a wife beater alway in trouble with the law I grew up with this Clown Karma caught up with him he works at a drive-through in Tim hortons and lost everything .
Depending on who you ask. Lot of people think Brashear is kind of a cop out, cause he hugs you till he can get his left loose rather than standing open wide from the get go. I think Probert, Twist, kocur , McGratten , in their prime would destroy Brashear
ОтветитьBrashear wouldn't fight mcgrattan but he went after Chris Neil who was smaller and an easier opponent what a coward.
ОтветитьI think Donald lost 1 fight! That no namer guy on the Sharks was lighting Donald up. His name was Shelley or something like that. The only time I've seen someone beat Donald. Somewhat subjective but this shots were connecting.
ОтветитьBrash was a beast, but I find it odd they didn't show him and Wade Belak.
ОтветитьYikes, Downey grabbed the wrong arm
ОтветитьThe Mcsorley beatings were my favourite. He also fought Laraque twice before.
ОтветитьPuh-lease, no Canucks fights? Don't show the greasy East bias too much LOL! The Laraque fight and the Shelly bout were top 10, the rest? Bigtime MEH. The problem with the greasy East bias is ya'll are too drunk by the time the West Coast games are on.
West Coast is best coast for sports, get home from work catch the greasy East over supper, then get the "late" games at 7PM.
I can happily say as a kid I seen Donald throw down in the ice
ОтветитьSuch a monster
ОтветитьUsed to work at the McDonalds when i was a teen right across the street from Donald's house in Quebec city.
Dude was a gentlemen and always tipped us even tho we couldnt take tips.
Brash is in the top 10 all time fighters. ( His era) the last 2 years in Vancouver thru his entire Flyers stint into his 1st year with Washington was one of the most dominate by anyone.
ОтветитьBrash a monster
ОтветитьYou MUST know this about me, to understand where, when and how I grew up: Born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Japanese-American (showing HOW I grew up). Well, Donald Brashears and Georges Larouque going at it, if nothing else, I CAN say that it was NOT racially motivated! For obvious reasons, I HATE Gary Suter, and hope at least one time in his career, an opponent put pain on Suter. For obvious reasons, I think Gary Suter's cheap shot on Paul Kariya was racially motivated.
ОтветитьI called him bear 🐻 brash was a beast in his prime
Ответить“Brashest a left and Laraque went down” instant classic
Ответитьi can't fault a guy for fighting smart and using strategy. Brashear wasn't liked by some because he took the edge and wouldn't be duped into fights when he was tired...he fought when he was ready. He understood grips and guys that wanted to just rock and roll sometimes ended up frustrated by Brashear gripfighting and couldn't get off power shots....that's smart fighting and Brashear did it against the best for a long time.
ОтветитьDonald vs Sean Avery... who would have won?
ОтветитьMiss the old days. If I watch something og I wAnna cry
Ответитьsheesh downey and chris neil got it good..lol I feel ike brashears is the master at hugging ppl close and then using his strength to great separation to get that left hand going ..lol
ОтветитьBrash considered one if the toughest ever to play the game. NHLPA said in 2005, All 200 players ranked him 3rd.
ОтветитьBrashear lost the Laraque fight.
ОтветитьIs Colton Orr like 0-20 against Donald Brashear?!?!?
ОтветитьWhat a wimp for a heavyweight lost almost all of the fights in my opinion
ОтветитьLol! Rob Ray didn't do to well with his sweater on. 🤣😂
ОтветитьBrash was a 1 trick pony.. grab and yank down hard, hoping to tie up his opponent with his own jersey.. godard, shelley, and laraque destroyed him, amongst others..
ОтветитьShawn thorton is a fucking beast to have been strong agaisnt him
ОтветитьLol, how isn’t there any ones when he was on Vancouver? He was a Canuck the longest.
ОтветитьThey should of sent enforcer to every All-Star game, John Scott was a fading example of the legacy of the type of player it took
ОтветитьAaron Downey got owned
ОтветитьWorst excuse for an enforcer ever to play in the show. Rabbit puncher at best!!
Turtled on Domi who he towered over. Gutless bum!!
i hated brashear's huggy bear technique but the guy was strong.
ОтветитьHe fucked up Riley Cote
ОтветитьBrash was a beast,period
Ответить
