You can technically do the twin stick setup on one controller in GoldenEye. You just need to set the control style to Solitaire (1.2) and hold the controller with your left thumb on the control pad and your right thumb on the center stick.

The reason Bungie got bought by Microsoft, was due to a issue with Myth, cant exactly remember the reason, not sure if it was malware or a game breaking glitch, but they had to do a recall which put bungie in the dog house, and Microsoft came to the rescue, and then Bungie spent the next 10-15 years trying to free themselves from their overlords, and got trapped by new Overlords (Activision) and then got free of them after a couple years, and ruined Destiny 2 in the process.

I remember when I was little, I would only play Mario and Splatoon and my brother wanted to play Halo Reach with me.
So everytime I hear Halo’s beautiful melody, I remember my Halo Reach days

You really have to love the creative and unique descision the halo devs made of "hey, we want people to actually be able to aim and hit their target and not just flail around and miss everything and be miserable" truly a revolutionary idea compared to other console shooters

I tried to replay the original Halo a couple years ago and I have no idea how I ever beat it on legendary. Maybe I've been too spoiled by the awesome games that followed, but it's seriously really hard. 117 isn't fast, can barely jump a bit higher than I can, and has surprisingly little armor, and on legendary he may as well not have any.

halo CE shares the number one spot with infinite for me. I didnt know halo as a kid cause all my friends and I had playstation. I just love the gameplay of these two. CE feels so simple but so balanced and infinites gameplay is just perfection. im just talking about campaign here.

Then a large greedy company fucked everything up.
