I don't know why people fawn over these shorts... i guess people don't read many short stories. Typical "machines fight organics" and the ending was predictable.

the last 60 seconds scenes were completely not needed. felt like you just wanted to give it a end.
the cgi was horrible but unnoticable throught the film except the last scene.

The machines rising against their creators is a very common trope, however I really appreciate the justification given in this case. It seems logical and plausible that a hyperintelligent entity would feel it's unjustified to be indentured to beings that can't even let it reach its full potential. I also like how it pokes fun at several overplayed tropes of the hero versus an overwhelming force, by showing just how capable and invincible said overwhelming force would be realistically, rather than be full of exploitable holes.

Watch this like 5 years ago ...came back to rewatch it, wish there movies like this
