I was a bit concerned initially about counter battery fire. This was addressed here. A nice heavy concrete protective pocket for it to hide in would if I was in the crew be preferable but I guess you have to make best use of what you have.

I saw comment "If North Korea can send troops to Ukraine to fight for Russia, so too can European countries send troops to help Ukraine". The answer is NO (If volunteers can ahead). (1st) remember 2 years ago Russia rush to attack Ukraine. Why? because that time NATO received membership application from Ukraine. What NATO want to do about it. The answers very simple A. Approved or B. Rejected. If Approved Russia still will attack Ukraine, will NATO help? If Rejected also no benefit for NATO, and status quo. Give you a tip. Why NATO approved Turkey membership since it not part of Europe? It must benefit to NATO (Try to answer: What Turkey benefit to NATO?) and not bring disaster. If bring immediate disaster to NATO what for accept you. How benefit to NATO. So one day someone call Putin said "Mr Putin we just receive Ukraine membership application, next week we have member meeting, if you start war with Ukraine now, we will keep aside this application." Ah ah immediately members receive many purchase order and many benefit still coming till today. (2nd and lastly) the answer is NO. Refer to WW2 Japan invade China. That time Japan invade China more than decades and almost control 50% of China. But at the same time China still in Civil war between Communist leaded by Mao Zedong and Democracy leaded by Chiang Kai shek. Both party still fight with each others, not consider Japan invasion is real threat to China, so China civil war continue and ignore Japan invasion. Why? because China is too big for Japan to swallow, at that time Japan already have to recruit their primary school kids to join the war. eventually Japan will run out of boys.
