Someone finally said Meghana Biryani is not biryani. Its rice and masala paneer/chicken.
Taste is good.
But dont think it should be kept in biryani category.. the rice doens't really have the flavour/fragrance of paneer/chicken which is the whole point of dum I guess..

Probably you have tried the wrong biriyani in Meghna’s. Be it veg or chicken or aloo biriyani, the rice has a hint of similarity of Kolkata’s and Hyderabadi biriyani. It is preferred by most of the people in Bangalore.
And talking about the price point, it is reasonable as 1 serve is actually for 2-3 people (depending upon the appetite of course).

Going MTR restaurant and eating Thali is like going punjab and ordering ghee podi idli😅.

Try mtr near lalbagh. It is oldest restaurant. The fruit salad with ice cream is traditional. It is different texture. Try other food items.
