It seems like the halfback in this situation almost acts like an anchor. Which is interesting because I’ve been pairing IFB and anchors in my tactics and it’s been working great

Would other defensive midfield roles operate similarly to the HB in this setup? Like if you had a DM on defend or an Anchor instead of a HB, would they do the same thing?
