Dammit, never in my life had I cried just by watching the trailer of a movie! Love the book and I can't believe this actually looks like a worthy adaptation. The cast is simply pitch perfect at capturing the essence of each character 🙌🏼

у Бортко актеры гораздо старше персонажей,поэтому искажается смысл ,чувства в разном возрасте отличаются. Тоцкому,который собирается жениться, в романе около 50,актёру под 70,генералу Епанчину 55 ,актёру 70, Настасья Филиповна празднует день рождения 25 лет ,актрисе к 40 и т.д.

Мурашки... Чудесный клип, вносит свежий воздух и динамичность в сюжет, как будто трейлер голливудского фильма. И все кадры так хорошо подобраны, даже захотелось пересмотреть или перечитать "Идиота" еще раз. Спасибо!

This clip is amazing!!! I recently reread the book and found this series. Lydia's Nastasya Filippovna fits my imagination perfectly! I just wish there were more scenes about her. This is one of my favourite books ever and i am moved from even the small excerpt i have seen... this looks really like an astonishing and faithful adaption, i cannot wait to watch the films!

I don’t think I’ve ever been moved to tears by a movie/series trailer until now. Wow. Such wonderful character portrayals and costumes, and very touching music. From the Prince on the front step and his laughter, to Aglaya’s saying how the others don’t have as much honor in their little finger as the Prince, to Nastasya’s emotions, it’s very nice to see the characters come to life. I’m nearly finished with the book, and I very much look forward to watching this series. Thank you for uploading!

Amazing book and also a amazing movie. Dostoieski( one of my favourite writters) did a great job about his work. After this novel i read a lot of russians books most of them are from Pușkin and F.M. Should i try read the "History of Russia" ?

Dostoevsky's "Idiot" pictures touchable, intriguing and somehow very specific story that I truly love since I've recently finished it. I've just started to watch TV series (which was almost impossible to find in Polish; well, I could watch in English yet still... national language is always easier) and I'm fascinated as well. Actors, mood of series, just everything is breathtaking! No one but Russians are able to make movies/TV series of their own books ("Master and Margarita" (which is also one of my all-time favourite books) was also directed by Vladimir Bortko and it was as well great). Your video was magnificent, perfectly made, very emotional and gave me again a chance to think "Poor, Myshkin! Poor, Nastassya!" and sight out loud. Thanks for that! :)
