Those are the council areas since 1994, not 1975. The 1975 reorganisation gave us the short lived 9 regions, 53 districts and 3 island areas. Since 1994 we've had the 32 unitary authorities. [32 is a perfect number for a knock-out competition btw]

They're only ever called counties when they're basically the same as the old counties, like Clackmannanshire. Nobody would ever call places like Aberdeen City or Falkirk counties.

Douglas Ross only kinda lost in Moray in the 2024 UK general election, he was defeated in Aberdeenshire North & Moray East. Most or Moray is actually in Moray West, Nairn & Strathspey.

Moray is pronounced 'Murray'.
