Google Pixel 7 Pro Review - 6 Months Later

You’re talk about the photos, but what about the Videos and videos at night or in a club with people in movements ?

What about gaming on this device?
I want to buy this phone i currently have i14 max,as it's battery health is a issue

Now it seems even better $250 off at the Google store even with the pixel 8 coming out soon.

As a new Pixel 7 Pro owner definitely a needed upgrade from my 11 pro max, I love how simple but complex this phone is and it's super user friendly.

What is the battery life like please

Pexil7pro is nice phone but the stupid part is when you do screen record it's not easy you have to go through long way to on and when want to off screen recorder again you have pull down the screen and find off button which all this process will be recorded.stupid stupid

I appreciate that, I am an avid LG user, I currently have the LG Velvet, which I love! I have had too many friends with so many issues with Samsung so I wouldn't ever choose one for myself. And now that LG no longer makes phones, I was worried about my next step. Now I am feeling better that the Google Pixel Pro will be the next phone for me.

Just picked up the Pixel 7 pro for around $500 after my One Plus 6T died on me. I am amazed at how much of a difference the Pixel's haptics makes. And for even cheaper than what I got the One Plus 6T at I am very pleased.

I'm thinking about getting me a Google pixel.

Will a external screen like my Huion Kanvas 22 Plus work with this one? My old trust Huawei P10P are dying and I need an replacement .. this one seems to tick all my other reqirements but my google fu seems to be broken regarding the compability between these 2 devices :)

I've had the 7 Pro for 5 months now. After having the Galaxy S21 before the 7 Pro I can honestly say the 7 Pro sux. Going back to Galaxy as soon as possible.

Can it continuously record video for more than an hour? Considering this phone for concerts

Anyone else noticed all these people on you tube worship the free phones? Lol I bought a pixel with my own$ and it's the worst phone I ever had.

I am really interested in the pixel series but the 7 pro has grab my interest but the only thing that is really committing me to not get one I hear they will stop doing updates that they only have 3 years of updates and that google will stop at year 2025 for the phone should I still get it. I love what I am seeing about the phone so far. I have extra mobile batteries pack cause I hear it’s battery is terrible. Also is this phone good for gaming and watching videos? For people who had it for more than 6 months will this phone be a great investment?

I had the pixel 6 pro and my screen cracked so I did the insurance claim on it and they sent me the 7 pro. I kinda like it over the 6 pro. It's basically the exact same but the couple new features and the improvements on the old ones make it a lot better in my opinion.

So I've had the P7 for 8 months and I like a lot about it. The size is nice, the Tensor 2 SoC runs A13 fluidly and Google's implementation of Android IMO is the best there is. It's a lean smart Android OS and the added Pixel only features are nice. However, the onscreen Fingerprint Sensor and battery life are letdowns. I'm lucky if I get ~70% accuracy with the Fingerprint sensor and yeah there's a limited facial recognition but it's nothing compared to Apple's Face ID so I usually stick with the frustrating fingerprint sensor. Then there's the battery life. After 8 most this allegedly smart phone knows my usage patterns and I've tried all kinds of options to enhance battery life including turning off 90hz display. All Bupkis. I barely get 5 hrs SoT with this phone and it's left me hanging plenty of days. Google is new to SoC designing and it's painfully apparent they haven't mastered battery optimization for their Tensor 2 SoC like Apple has for their Bionic series of chips. Those two critical weaknesses keep me from loving this phone.

Stuff Samsung and Apple

My experience was great and made my wife glad she left iPhone... until it wasn't. One day the phone got incredibly hot and made a loud "POP!" The screen cracked and after contacting Google, they said it is a known issue and the screen cracked due to a defect. However, they would not fix the phone.

Has anyone else had a terrible time with Google not honoring their warranty?

Shocked at how many tech reviewers love the camera and phone. The camera is an absolute disaster, and you can find Millions of users writing various sources for help. I am not a programmer or IT professional, but I am somewhat "tech savy", and I cannot figure out how to make portraits/selfies NOT come out like a comically over-contrasted, darkened, mess. Using "RAW", as many sources advise, does not help - google processing software kicks in before that, and it's ruined. This glaring problem should have been fixed a long time ago, but I've been waiting 6 months. Another 3-4, and I go back to Samsung or try Apple, which seems to take amazing pics for my iPhone-using friends. Gave google a chance- as of now, it was a bad decision.

I'm finally upgrading my galaxy s10 and was considering an s23 ultra but got an offer for the pixel 7 pro for $200.. Was an easy decision. Lol. I dont even care about phones anyway.. I just want a nice screen and fast internet. This seems about right.

i hate the curve screen..it gave me less of cases and screen protectors to choose from..also not good for protection
