When justice overpowered the injustice
ОтветитьAmerican here, My Great Grandfather served in the navy during the war. He wasn’t drafted he volunteered because he felt like it was his duty to serve his country. The ship he was on was there in the water during D-Day. From what I’ve been told he was never quite the same man after the war for obvious reasons. Although I unfortunately never got to meet him but I can say that he was truly a hero as were all the people who served and fought in the name of freedom during the Second World War. Rest in peace Great Grandpa thank you and many others not just in the United States but around the world for the privilege of living in freedom each and every day because of your heroism. 🇺🇸 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 🇨🇦 🇦🇺 🇳🇿 🇨🇿 🇵🇱 🇳🇱 🇧🇪 🇱🇺 🇩🇰 🇳🇴 🇬🇷 🇹🇼
ОтветитьThe land of the brave
ОтветитьPuerto Rico has served in every US war since WW1. But yet we still face taxation without representation. We've sent more soldiers than most US states. Disproportionately for a small US territory 🇵🇷
ОтветитьPlease let what none of us who have had relatives who fought thru this catastrophic confrontation forget what they did and sacrificed for our tomorrows.
ОтветитьMy Uncle before he was 18 was a part of 7 amphibious invasions in the Pacific, 2 unexploded dive bombs land next to him, and his ship capsized
We didn't know about most of this until 2000's when he drank too much at Thanksgiving. New respect for the man
American citizens of today don't understand the sacrifice these men made, they stomp the flag, burn it, and set their own colors to match the rainbow and what an ultimate disrespect that is. They are entitled and uneducated. Most don't even know why there are 50 stars on the flag, or what the 50 stars represent. Most don't even know what country we fought against to gain our independence. Now they stand for their pronouns and whatever senseless gender they stand for that isn't male or female. What a shame it is that legal immigrants appreciate this country more than the people who were born here. To people like me, and I hope there a thousands more like me, that understand that without the sacrifices made in WW2, they wouldn't even have the chance to identify as whatever they want. They can do that if they please, but when they disrespect the flag and the fallen who died to give them those rights is when a person like me is gonna check you in you're non binary jaw. Live as you please but don't tread on the names who gave you the right to do so.

ОтветитьI have always believed there is no greater honor than to die on the field of battle in defense of others. Videos like these are reminders as to why these battles and wars should be remembered. Because without our forefathers' sacrifices would surely be subjugated.
ОтветитьWow....well in my mind..this is a war of Palestine vs Israel🇵🇸vs🇮🇱

ОтветитьThese men and women weren’t even asked but yet they answered the call knowing that they were to face the evil incarnate deep within all men and that many would not return. May God bless those remaining of this generation and May God accept these heroes as thy heroic servants into thine kingdom and give them peace that they rightfully died for here on Earth
ОтветитьThe greatest generation there ever was!

ОтветитьHere in Niagara region there’s a fellow and he owns 3 WW2 style fighter planes, Sundays him and 2 others fly their planes around Niagara and it is So loud. They fly low and fly in 3 formation. I take my kids out and we watch them circle above us. I tell my children now just imagine 100, 200, 500 of those flying over top of you right now. If just 3 of those can shake you and make your soul rumble. 500 would terrify ya.
ОтветитьMy great uncle Albert landed at Juno beach on D-day, survived. My great grandpa Ellis landed in Normandy the night before, survived.
I wonder if grandpa Ellis had a hand in saving albert on the beach that day as their objective was to take out the guns hammering the beach. 🇨🇦 respect, both men played a role for king and country
Men a thousand years from now will thank god on their knees that fdr was in the White House when he was
ОтветитьI watched this on D-Day 🇺🇲
ОтветитьToday is d day
Ответить79 years ago today, Allied forces launched Operation Overlord. This operation would go down in history as the largest naval invasion in history utilizing 5,000 landing craft, 289 escort vessels, 277 minesweepers, and 160,000 troops. 79 years ago today, the liberation of Europe began.
ОтветитьHari ini 6 Juni 2023
Ответить65,000 Puerto Ricans took part in WW2 in both European and Pacific theathers fought bravely and won. For such a small US territory we sent more troops than most US states those are the facts. 🇺🇸🇵🇷
ОтветитьI Thank all of the brave men for never letting many nations fall to those who would wish to destroy us.
ОтветитьMy Granpa was a Naval aviator during the Battle of midway. He scored a torpedo hit on a japanese carrier but got shot down and killed. RIP to my hero LT. Wensley H. Wood your sacrifice are not in vain.
