Some lovely sounds going on there George. The field and come to that marshal/leyland's all sounded nice, but the sound of the day was the 6 cyl internationals, and the 97 fords. Shame about the County Crawler, but as you said, it happens. Thanks for taking us along, those that can't get there ourselves, much appreciated !!!!!
Ответитьnice to meet you and chat, that black Renault 106.14 was definitely one of my favourites, along with the 4955 and 9700, those were top 3 for me :)
ОтветитьThink needed ploughing
Ten years last time nice
Case at end looks like
Lot heads have gone 😂
loved the 9700 ploughing brought back memories great vid pete north wales
ОтветитьAnother great video George - I must say the Internationals 856XL 956XL and the 1055XL all sounded lovely. Looks like the engine in the Ford 8700 was breathing hard under load. Fantastic to see them all working. 😊👍
ОтветитьThat mx 135 with the 5.9l cummins boys !!!
ОтветитьHallo george Nice Film with youngtimer machines. I like the ihc machine and the black Renault
ОтветитьBeen many times to this event and always a nice day out.
ОтветитьProper old school power! Nice footage George 👍
ОтветитьPeople enjoying their tractors and plenty of black smoke. brilliant video George
ОтветитьGreat video George with a great selection of tractors. Out of curiosity what was your favourite?
ОтветитьGretta wouldn't be too pleased with all that black smoke,😂😂😂,keep it up lads ,not too often we will see it from now on with all this add blue shit
ОтветитьSadly George, the two 48’ Massey tractors, that were owned by the initial organiser, were sold a couple of years ago. Although they remain together with their new owner, and are about 20 mile away, they sadly don’t appear at this event now.
Ответить🐓🐓🐓🐓
ОтветитьWhat model was the marshall. It looked good following the Leyland. Would like to own a marshall 802 or 904xl in good condition. Sound of the IH's was good.
ОтветитьSeeing those three tractors @16.27 pumping out tons of thick black toxic Diesel smoke really made me pleased I was not breathing it in George!
Nice tractors, But that amount of Diesel exhaust is not very good for the lungs mate. I hope you were not breathing it in?
When I was looking though at the old thick rubber often solid front tractor tires,
I thought it be great for farmers if the tractors used solid sort off tractor tires instead of air filled tires.
So say that they do big thick walled rubber tires with no inflated center area,
But had instead a center of air spaces made up of a honeycomb of rubber cells so you had the effect of a air filled tire but thick heavy outer walls where the treads were.
You would not ever have to pump up the tire nor worry about getting a puncher as the many cells would let the tire still work!
The thick heavy outer walls of the tire would act also like a wheel weight was there giving more grip to the tire and when the wheel tread was worn down the tire could be sent off to a recycling place to cut up the tires and melt them down to do new tires as Rubber has the ability to be reused many many times. saving money and natural supplies the small amount of suspension lost from the now not fully inflated tire could be allowed for with better suspension set up on the wheels support areas on the frames of the tractors.
Since they all have already great cab and body suspension now anyway!
some nice kit at work
ОтветитьWhere's your tractor to contribute to the plowing
ОтветитьThe Marshalls are amazing
ОтветитьGood Evening George, What a beautiful place to go deaf lol love to have been there, Thanks George one more great videos,🚜⭐️⭐️👍👌
ОтветитьLots of great old beasts. Loved it.
ОтветитьThe Field Marshal was giving its all but it wasn’t enough. The old girl sounds like it needs a bit of clutch work. It looked like a Minneapolis Moline GTB there with hand clutch. I have one of those with a Perkins 354 conversion. About 80hp at 1800 rpm. Twice as much as the manufacturer intended. A lot of those conversions happened in the sixties here, in everything. A lot of LA cases got a 354, they all could handle it. A company called Scoble and Nash in Parkes in NSW did a lot of them. Jeff
Ответитьgreat video, loved seen that massey 6170 2wd, i delivered it when it was new back in the day, part of a 9 machine order
Ответитьsome tough old ground george

Ответитьthe Case Mx135 brings back alot of memory for me stend many hours on a mx150
ОтветитьThat mx sounds lovely and if the interWeb goes down the thumpers will be great for communicating and i love how low they'll rev and not stall.
ОтветитьLove a good classic no Electricity interference just you and the machine
ОтветитьLove the Marshall duo barking away. Pity the first one was suffering from clutch trouble... lovely video, thanks George. Stuart
Ответитьthe massy and IH looked to have show a few tractor up. the supprize to me was the Field Marshell pulling 4 boddem plows . that may not been as deep as the ih but still. amazing for 1 clinder tractors.
Ответитьthat 7810 ford really did sound loovely
ОтветитьGreat video George, nice to have all the old reliables still at it. 👍

Ответитьonly 2 f rev on the 2140?. thought it would go with a 3. great conditions. 👍
ОтветитьThanks George great vid ...... Take care sir...
ОтветитьBrilliant George Yep some clsssy gear there I might put it on my bucket list for 25
Yes there was a few Renaults near where I farmed in Irish midlands near the ploughing They accounted well for themselves Big Hrs on silage harvests etc Nice cabs etc Funny value for horsepower there was likely the Zetor 5748 With the home cab Very popular with us I pulled a Ransom 3 furrows in difficult condition with one hard to kill that engine but didn’t keep a market that they had , they also sold a few in Western Australia generally to the vegetable growers
The Leland 286 looks a beautiful tractor but it’s big Brother the 2100 I spent a bit of time on but after app 300 hrs it started to fall apart so Good bye Leyland Keep up the good work George
Great job Everybody, and Thank You for taking us along George👍🙏🙂
ОтветитьWould that be one of the legendary six cylinder Internationals pulling that crawler with the engine that runs like a Swiss watch.?
Ответить
