Lice is literally a scarlet letter, I had bad lice in elementary school and when word got out that I had it, I lost my reputation and got bullied even worse than before. Of coarse my mom had to buy 2 kits because of my really thick hair but she took care of it. My school life never really got better though

A few years ago when my kids had them, it was Christmas so the shops were shut. I used loads of hair conditioner and wrapped their heads in cling film (saran wrap) overnight, then washed it off late the next day. They were smothered to death. I washed all their bedding and cuddly toys, and hair brushes/combs. There's different home remedies out there that are equally as effective. I used the hair conditioner technique another couple of times until they were of an age where they naturally didn't get that close to other children.

Step 1: Grab scissors
Step 2: go the the bathroom
Step 3: Bring the Scissors near your hair
Step 4: Say Goodbye to your hair one last time
Step 5: Cut all your Hair until your fully bald
Final step: look at the mirror and your Now Bald in a good way so no more itch and Lice ✅

As a black woman, I have never seen any other black person I know in my 29 years of life have any type lice. I Never even seen them in person before. 🥴Ew I can’t imagine having them in my hair, my skin is crawling just thinking about it.😮

I would love to find someone that had an infestation and get Reid of them my self.

OMG 😳 I would shave all my hair off if that was me how do it end up getting that bad I am 50 this and have never seen head lice infestation it’s so gross🦠 my mum bone comb my hair every night until I was in high school lol 😂

Being caught unprepared will encourage better cleaning habits😳. This n is such misinformation! Lice are attracted to CLEAN hair. It's not about being clean. It's about being around a place or person that carries lice. SMH

The best solution is to shave your head. I did that and let new hair come and took healthy care of them
