Whitney houston loved to sing. She just wanted to sing. Drugs robbed her of a lot of things but she came back just to sing and do what she loved the most. She was real with her fans and the world.

Currently watching the film. I loved Whitney-her voice, figure, beauty, songs. She was a major part of my teenage years. It was so tragic to learn of her stupid (and preventable) death. Why do famous people always go off the rails and abuse what God has given them by squandering insane amounts of cash to shove stuff up their nose, down their throat or in their veins? It makes me so angry to lose fantastic talent because they can’t stop abusing themselves. It will never end and is testament to why individuals should never get as rich and famous as this as they all end up killing themselves far too soon, and it will never end unless we stop expecting everything from them and putting these people on such a high pedestal that they can only fall without grace or dignity.

I saw her last concert in Melbourne. She was a train wreck. It was horrible to watch and listen.

Her voice was shot by then. Whitney should not have agreed to perform. I so wish she had made better choices. I adored (still adore) her. Stunningly beautiful and had the voice of all voices.

At least they got a chance to see "A Legendary Singer" in person. ...in the flesh...before she exited this world..Think about it...We pay everyday to go to Art Shows...places like that ...for entertainment...and enjoy it...and don't hear any singing...Seeing Whitney Houston in person was ...alive and in the flesh was like Art....no one else can say that in 2023...what a memory to share with kids and grand kids...although she wasn't the 20 something Whitney...She was still Whitney ...just a little older and a human being who made mistakes during her life time...and who still tried her best to give her fans what she knew they wanted and could not...RIP
