Car Door Striker Adjustment - EASY (Nissan J31 / Any Car)

Came to know of this door adjustment for the first time. Very useful information.

What type of socket are you using? I couldn't hear you in the video. I need one for my VW Passat.

Great video, one thing you had wrong however: the striker didnt move, the door did. Also you striker came from the factory setting the door about .7mm higher at the top than the rear door. Lower the striker was a good idea to ser a flush height, but that drag you hear was from the door dropping a fraction of a mm over time due to general wearing of the hinges. Little secret is you can offset on beam of the striker from the other if you have a flush variance.

take strike off make sure door is inline , if so refit striker tighten bolts so you can just move by hand, shut door striker will be inline with lock , now you have to tap it inward to adjust closed position easy

Can’t adjust not marking the original position ….
