If you are going to be using a suspension seatpost go with the indoor versions of the seats, you don't have to worry about the inevitable squeak squeak, and it feels the same! 254lb guy and I love the Bikeroo.
ОтветитьCLOUD 9 IS BETTER, Much better quality materials!
ОтветитьIn your opinion would a XP make a cross country trip from New York to LA. Interested in their durabiliy. Thanks
ОтветитьHave you tested the YLG extra large seat? i tested this seat and found it to be extremely comfortable, even on 100 plus miles of continuous riding (including peddling) an ebike.
ОтветитьI don't like those seats. I use selle royale respiro
ОтветитьYet they can't make a seat that's not shaped like your Ass? Like a thick memory foam banana seat that goes in the pole without the stupid brackets.
ОтветитьI guess my butt must be weird. I bought a zoom suspension post and find that it and the stock Lectric 2.0 seat is perfectly comfortable. I go for 2-3 hour rides with absolutely no discomfort.
ОтветитьI have the bikeroo seat on my e bike and it is the most comfortable seat for any distance. Well worth the money, although it wasn't expensive at all.
Ответитьdoes the cloud 9 springs get squeaky or does the spring ever fall through the load hole?
ОтветитьEffective
ОтветитьThank you for telling us about the price differences. I didn't know the same item could have such varying prices. Good to know! Very good video!
ОтветитьThanks 🙏👍
ОтветитьUgh fantastic review thanks you! New sub 👍🏼
ОтветитьCanada Merci beaucoup
Québec M.T.L
Saludos nice video ❤
ОтветитьCheck out the ultra wide seats.
ОтветитьMejor de lo que esperaba
ОтветитьI got the bikeroo for $12.50!!
ОтветитьI think it is worth mentioning that the quality of a bike seat- whether avoiding perineum pain or "sit point" cushioning is in my opinion less dependent on bulk, weight, saddle springs and "cushiness" , then on the design, materials, technology and individual fit. Seat adjustment fore and aft and up and down can also make some difference in comfort. Also, padded bike shorts can also help somewhat. A suspension post may also help absorb bumps.
If you are finding your bike seat uncomfortable, you should probably find a bike store with a good seat catalog and let them help you find the best option and adjustments. You may have to try out a number of seats in search of the best fit.
You using some kind of shim to convert the zoom 27.2 to your bikes? What brand shim tube you like? Good job!
ОтветитьAre the suspension posts a standard size? Or do you have to get them for a specific bike?
ОтветитьAdded the Cloud 9 to my e-bike recently, and found it creaks and squeaks as I ride (doesn't do it if I'm not pedalling) so I have tightened the bolts under the seat including those under the springs, but it still creaks and squeaks as I ride. On gravel trails the road noise is loud enough for it to not bother me 'too' much, but on pavement it's driving me crazy! Anyone have a fix?
ОтветитьI just couldn't imagine a big day touring , 200kms plus on a big saddle like this for weeks on end
ОтветитьMy ecotric hammer came with a suspension seatpost. I had to take it off because I'm not tall enough. What a hassle that was. I bought the Cloud 9 seat but I don't think this brings do anything if you have Springs I should not have to adjust them so they work it's like you have to loosen it to have more spring and then it's loose you can't tighten it there's something wrong with the Cloud 9 Springs that you can't adjust them you shouldn't even have to adjust Springs! I need the Springs cuz I don't have nor can I use the suspension seat post I'm only 5'8 on a 6'2 bike. I've fallen off so many times it's ridiculous cuz I got one leg now and it's my wheelchair way better than a wheelchair and when you got one leg it's way easier to get on and off you don't have to put your leg over it LOL
ОтветитьThe original Bikeroo was very squeaky and noisy, and after about 50 miles became even worse. One of the springs had collapsed. Bikeroo sent a replacement immediately, and for two miles the replacement was quieter. Then it became really squeaky again, quite intolerable. So I binned it. It seems very cheaply made and not sturdy.
ОтветитьRun a small inexpensive cable lock thru the bars under the seat and down to the frame to deter someone from releasing the quick release and taking your seat and seatpost.
ОтветитьYOu didn't say anything about the difference in the nose - the cloud 9 (this version of it) has a cutout which may be easier on the private parts. The Bikeroo only had an indentation. Ironically, I am trying to replace my old Cloud 9 because it's causing me pain in the groin area --- it actually looks like the Bikeroo - with just an indentation rather than a nearly full cutout
ОтветитьI have a cloud ☁️ 9 set and yes it still hurts my butt and I am sure it’s because I don’t have a muscle butt, I am old so my butt is soft and yes I have a spring loaded set post it doesn’t help seriously 😳 my butt has delicate needs.
ОтветитьThis is the best test you need to find someone to squeeze the bike set and your butt to find out if a muscle butt versus a fat butt who is the most comfortable after a half hour riding on those sets that is most important 🫣🤓🫠 seriously 😒.
ОтветитьThanks for your thorough review! Definitely helped me decide what saddle to get!
ОтветитьI loved the cloud nine but the cover split in two places. 8 months old and about 1600 miles. Going to try the buckaroo
ОтветитьHi does the ventilation actually help?
ОтветитьSerfas Men's DDMD-200 E-Gel Saddle Is what we need.
ОтветитьIndoor version … is that for when we are cycling around the kitchen
ОтветитьI own a Bikearoo. I'll just say this, I'm selling it with the bike that I bought it for because it is not comfortable for me at all!
ОтветитьI would like to see the lectric comfort seat I am getting delivered by the 17th. Or is the bikeroo the Lectric.
ОтветитьHi can these be added to my Marlin 5 mountain bike? 🤔
ОтветитьCan you please add the side to side widths of each seat? Based on your explanation, I am assuming the 10 v 9 is the length of the seats
ОтветитьGreat work as usual, thank you! You've become my go-to-guy for a second opinion whenever I'm looking for e-bike information and accessories.
ОтветитьThe bike weighs 60 lbs. If two lbs. is a strain for you, you need to grow a pair.. LOL....!
ОтветитьGorgeous seats very ergo...for some 😜
ОтветитьThanks for your excellent review. My first upgrade for my XP 1.0 will be Cloud 9 and Zoom suspension seat post. I’ve put 700 miles on original seat and haven’t had a problem at all with its comfort but after viewing so many YT reviews and recommendations for these upgrades, why not? Especially if I can find both for such low costs!
ОтветитьI went with the Bikeroo… rather than be a moving advertisement for the Cloud9 with their huge logos - they should pay you to ride around with it!
ОтветитьWhat type or brand is the seat post shock pole?
Thanks
can you provide the link to the seat post you used for cloud9 seat ? Thx
ОтветитьA big difference is the weight of the rider! When your whole body is perched on a pad and you weigh <cough> over 250 a big and wide perch is going to reduce numb bum a lot. These lightweight athletic types could sit on a broom handle all day…I found an hour on the stock mtb saddle was getting really hard to bear. I think I’ll go with Bikeroo for being shorter (and lighter).
ОтветитьThanks for the review appreciate it I just ordered an E bike but I’m already looking at different parts🤣
ОтветитьI'm getting cloud nine .
Thank you.
Thanks for the great review,
I’m wondering if the cloud 9 works for the Himo c26 ebike ?
