If the audio is great, the mix is great. Doing mixing for non par quality, makes a mixing session last 5x longer for me. I long for great quality, so a great quality mix is created.
ОтветитьRob, so great to see your face again. You’re a natural with this and an amazing teacher. Hope you are well!
ОтветитьThe new studio setting looks great. Very nice!!
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьGreat video many thanks for sharing !!! Theoriginalrocker
ОтветитьVery comprehensive. Thank you.
ОтветитьOne of the top best videos on just giving tips on this subject for sure! Does not push anything on you, and makes you aware of topics outside of mixing that correlate with it. Amazing channel find for me!
ОтветитьI really enjoy the content in these videos. However, the video editing is overkill. Too many cuts with a zoom on the same camera angle. It’s disorienting and the frequency makes it feel instantly cliche. Otherwise, great video. Thanks.
ОтветитьAnyone who can find a way to seamlessly weave Hume into a mixing workflow is okay with me!
Great video. Liked and sub’d.
The right and left brain being different is a myth the only thing that's for sure is what side of body it stimulates if you watch a scan of someone's brain when there doing something creative or interesting to them different parts of the brain light up all over the place no specific side
ОтветитьThis just might be my favorite video of yours. One topic that I don’t think gets enough attention in the online music production advice space is the disparity in signal characteristics between tracks recorded directly through a sterile preamp and tracks recorded through analog on the way in. Would love to hear about your experience with bridging that gap. Happy new year 🎉
ОтветитьAwesome tips! Thank you and Happy 2023! 🙏🎶✨
ОтветитьThank you! This is great! Are those bees on that wallpaper?
ОтветитьOne of the best videos I've seen on the subject for beginners (in my case). Straight to the point and deeply informative. Thank you for taking the time to explain things in a very objective way and for the emphasis on making conscious decisions based on facts and context. Not so easy to find these days.
Cheers!
Excellent video!
ОтветитьPlease talk slow ,I can't follow with u r word
ОтветитьAs always writing a comment to support the channel
ОтветитьVery good advice, thank you!
ОтветитьOK, what the hell is the track playing behind the Mix Fast section. Those chord inversions are phenomenal!
ОтветитьIn listening to and working with music for a long time I realized I don't know what's good anymore. 😐
ОтветитьIt looks like you use VSX headphones. For someone who can only mix on headphones I’m curious if you did a review on them and tips? As well your use.
Also, why is the lead vocal track in stereo?
One of the best videos! Thanks!
ОтветитьLeft -, right brain theory is outdated FYI Essentially, we are just switching "modes", but mind you: I always use both sides... see? 😁
ОтветитьPerfect and helpfull set of advice for mixing! Great work, mate!
ОтветитьWe really needed this. The close your eyes one is really amazing. I've found myself finding mistakes faster when i close my eyes and listen to the mix.
ОтветитьSometimes "why am I doing this?" Is the first question 🥲🤣🤣
ОтветитьI recieved and read all your mails but i love the vids as well :)
ОтветитьThis is really good!
ОтветитьAll of this is very true and good advice
ОтветитьTo0 fast!!!!!!
ОтветитьI appreciate you! Don’t stop being amazing 🗣️💯
Ответить13 mixing tips.
Number one: Mix better.
This doesn't bode well for the rest of the video. *hard facepalm of disappointment
THESE ARE ALL BOUGHT AMD PAID FOR POSITIVE COMMENTS! 😂ITS SO OBVIOUS!😂
Ответить2 is so true
ОтветитьTIP #3 YES!
ОтветитьI just don't want to hear "give me a reason to leave" I do not wan't this negative repetitive sort of thing in my life.
Ответитьok all goo but LEFT BRAIN is the CREATIVE side and RIGHT BRAIN is TECHnical you got it backwards
ОтветитьYou are awesome dude nice to find a fellow Brit too
ОтветитьThanks for this you legend
ОтветитьGreat info Rob and great editing!
ОтветитьThanks a lot. Very good explain.
ОтветитьVery cool tips. I liked the tip to make the tracks balace ewthout pligons and hear a refetence track. Cool.
ОтветитьYour cupboard is open
ОтветитьNice Video - but:
It would be 100% better to lower diwn the time/information density.
I think that only those people csn really follow you, who doesn't need your tips.
Time pressure also destroys the fun factor.
Many No1 Hits are produced over month.
why not?
