Great test, but what is the downside then of that setting? Why wouldn't you keep it in that setting all the time if two-tone Ferrous is not good? Does it not go as deep or something in that setting? Seems like you just want to keep it in that setting all the time.

I use a smaller coil on my etrac and it hoovers up silvers in trashy sites,stock coil not the best

No trashy site 2 tone is good 👍
