Today, it's actually relatively safe. Safety standards have increased immensely over the years

But, here were 15 deaths in the 1950's including four at Indianapolis. Two in 1955 and two more in 1958
14 deaths in the '60s including 6 during a 16-month span in 1960-61
12 deaths in the '70s
6 deaths throughout the '80s-'90s including Canadian great Gilles Villeneuve in 1982 and The GOAT himself Ayrton Senna in 1994

Luckily only one driver has died in a current F1 car since Senna's death in '94. Jules Bianchi sadly passed after an incident at Suzuka in 2014.

O interessante é o detalhe do acelerador no meio das curvas, ele sempre mantinha o motor girando. É uma técnica muito difícil de fazer sem passar do ponto.

I find it exceedingly more difficult to drive on the limit with a standard transmission than paddles. In a SIMULATOR, imagine doing that in real life for 2 hours. In a dangerous car with very little cockpit protection and G-forces. Modern F1 Cars are smooth af and require much less input.

Automatic doesn't matter against someone who can drive better.

As Willians foram quase que imbatível nesse ano, mais nessa pista o Senna era quase imbatível. Essa volta espetacular deu praticamente o título daquele ano pro Airton.

Hamilton je 2018g vozio 1,35sec za pol, a Vetel u Ferrariju 2017g 1,17sec za pol. Senna bez pomagala i mora saltati i voziti jednom rukom.
