You have shown off our village nicely, although you did use the second best butchers and pie shop😊

We moved from London to a village just outside Pateley a few years back. It’s a truly wonderful area - and you have done it credit with a lovely video.

One of my childhood memories, is of Pateley Bridge, with Mum, Dad and my Brothers visiting this pretty Village. It seemed miles away but not far from our home in Leeds. How lucky were we, I still get the same feeling whenever I visit such a cosy and welcoming Village. A great video cheers.

Fisheries is a rarely used term, living as a Yorkshire man of 50+ yrs and hearing my parent and grandparents we have always call them chippies, chip-shops or fish shop, I would suspect fisheries is more a documented term rather than a spoken lingo.

Pately Bridge is hardly a hidden jem, it's very well known to anyone from Yorkshire.

Gobsmackedly beautiful place! The Yorkshire Dales are something that was mentioned in the James Herriot novels a number of times. Having seen this beautiful place, I understand completely why Alf Wight (aka James Herriot) was so taken by the beauty of this place. ❤️. Thank you again 💓 💖 💗

I'm for sandblasting everything to remove the unsightly exterior black smudges left over from the coal days!
