I know it's real but there is no way I can believe this after the Radioactive MRE, like it even has the mouthpiece left on haha.

The pen with the bulb and coil is just a wax pen for dabs. It's made for that which is why it has a mouth piece and came with other parts in the box including a wax spoon.

One idea I had when it came to finding toasty components was when a friend showed me thermal nail polish which can change color, based on the differential between the base of the nail and the tip. I never got around to actually testing it to see if it would actually work but it could be handy for a reusable method

I have a 32 pin connector on a PCB with lots of dry joints. They are very tiny. Is it okay to use hot air and flux paste to flow the connector pins or would it be better to use a soldering iron and a specific solder for this?

A blast of freezer spray is easier. Sod the ozone layer!

Alternatively, if you suspect that a component is getting too hot, you can just stick your finger on it. When it hurts, you have identified the faulty component.

Big fan of bigclive, but this is one time I have to take exception. I've watched every video on these I can find and there's a few common strains: 1) you don't see any of them cleaning up the excess flux after demo-ing (they're all demos and not actual repairs, most only show laying down the flux), 2) breathing flux vapor is bad for health, and its very electrostatic (sticks to everything); you don't want it indoors any more than you have to, 3) cooling sprays and IR detectors do a better job (at lower component temps) and do it faster. 4) It's a gen 1 vape pen people are trying to unload.

Explaining what it is at an airport would be dicey! Lol

It would be nice to see a variant not powered by a sketchy chinese battery power supply. Maybe banana or xt-60 connectors to a bench power supply.

Poor man's short detector that can help to find shorts on PCB in cheap and dirty way without thermal camera. Probably the one and only proper usage of vaping equipment. Do not inhale the "smoke" though - seriously. And seems board cleanup is required after use.

after multiple versions and listings and so many example photos, I was almost getting kinda mad thinking it was such a stupid cover up for a dab pen.

Reminded me of back in the day in the US there are smoking pipe glass shops all over, but until they legalized Marijuana, if you went to a glass shop you'd have to call them "tobacco water pipes" , not bongs or just waterpipes , so that it remained legal, which..is just so dumb.

Like come on, no one is smoking tobacco out of these pipes, everyone knows this, but it was how they could do business without incrimination , but its just such a dumb solution, like you might as well wink after saying "tobacco pipe" in a bong shop , it's dumb lol.

I digress you get my point though, I'm honestly relieved that this is a real use of these
