As you said for £50 it's cool👍😉
ОтветитьLike to protect your garage floor under its not too bad
ОтветитьThats a good review never thought about tiles in my garage it's also concrete & very cold in the winter deffo something 2 think about
ОтветитьThese would be great for working on motorbikes
ОтветитьLooks like junk to me I wouldn't buy them
ОтветитьNice informative video there 😃😃👍👍
ОтветитьMuch better than I thought it would be. I’d read some reviews of flooring tiles, and they weren’t great at all. I’ve got two strips of carpet tiles for the tyre runs, with a sealed & painted floor. These carpet tiles have been in for 5 years, and lasted really well. If you are going to use contact adhesive, you MUST seal the concrete floor first, as the dusty surface won’t allow the adhesive to stick, and they will come up again
Ответитьim going to get these to stand my RS on
ОтветитьHaving seen this in going to get it done for mine! The cold floor is a magnet for condensation in the winter so anything that will insulate the floor will help keep the moisture away from the underside of the car
ОтветитьHave you tripped up yet?
ОтветитьI had them in my garage and found them great until I put my car in wet one day. The water stayed under the tiles for weeks so I took them out again
ОтветитьBought some yesterday but to put our hot tub on it
I used my Halfords trade card and they discount to just over £11 per pack
Great vid, might look into getting these. Currently have left over carpet and underlay doing the trick
ОтветитьJust thinking, is it possible to link the tiles like a brick bond I.e staggered rather than side by side as maybe that would be less likely for some to bow? The jacking of a car as you point out could be problematic, so I’ll stick with my painted floor and moveable rubber mat to avoid the cold floor when working on the car 🤔
ОтветитьHad these, utter garbage. Once you drive your car in and out several times, they start to 'hitch' up and bow. Needless to say, straight in the bin
ОтветитьWhat material is it?
Ответитьyou can always put the kids in it when they get to bad ! Just joking !
ОтветитьTank you for reviewing these, I've been thinking about them for my shed and that's made up my mind. Thank you xx
ОтветитьNice mate I'm looking at the same stuff for my shed for my bike- price has shot up like you said which is a pain but nice to know it's not too shit
ОтветитьI’ve just done a double garage that had old carpet and it’s obviously much nicer. The cost made it a no brainer, £200 compared to £1k the more expensive stuff. I do have the buckling issue though and will probably try adhesive. Failing that horse mats are supposed to be good. You get what you pay for…..
ОтветитьThank you for sharing!
Ответитьdo you use the heater to heat your garage?
Ответитьa roof box for the kids is such a great idea! no more noise in the back seat
Ответитьand what are your thoughts a year on post-installation?
ОтветитьHey dude how much did the tiles cost you for that whole bit of flooring
ОтветитьAm I a weirdo for wanting these installed in my front room 😂
ОтветитьAre these black? They look grey on my screen, but Halfords only appear to be selling black (unless grey has been discontinued). Thanks for the review!
ОтветитьNot often I buy anything these days and get good value. These are a bargain at 2 packs for £20. Great shed flooring.
ОтветитьOff cuts make great tool drawer liners/shadow foam substitute.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing 🙏🏻
ОтветитьNo! You get what you pay for but these will never last in a garage environment. We would love to help if you ever want to upgrade to our premium tiles! 😀👍🏻
ОтветитьWas considering these myself, but £650 for a 5x5 double garage is way too expensive. There are cheaper and better options out there.
ОтветитьThey’re currently doing 2 packs for £18 so I’ve picked up 4 packs (24 tiles) of these, was initially £36 but with the free Halfords membership discount and the current 10% off promo code, got the price down to £27.40. Works out £6.85 per pack… bargain!
ОтветитьThanks bud ✌️
ОтветитьHow thick are these in cm/mm?
ОтветитьGot these in mine around 3 years maybe 4, where i've kept my M6 inside. They do leave big prints where the tyres are sat, but I have a spare pack. Thinking of replacing mine as underneath I have found moisture, might not be because of the tiles but I am looking at proper vented tiles for about 500quid (3x5m sq).
ОтветитьCurrently have some old carpet down at the moment, but rubber would be a lot easier to push the motorcycle into place.
