We were too harsh on FC4 just because it came after FC3. Brilliant game.

Arguably one of the greatest video game settings ever, and the greatest setting in Far Cry. Everyone has seen European, American and East Asian cities. European and American wilderness. Nowadays many games have even explored Africa and tropical countries.

Far Cry 4 is the only game to ever explore Nepal, its mythology and the himalayas. All while fighting Pol Pot and Shining Path esque rebels. It is insanely unique. Far Cry 5 literally just being Montana further highlighted how great and unique Far Cry 4 truly was.
