Love the floating night stands. As someone who cleans a large house myself 90% of the time, I really appreciate furniture I don't have to move or lift up to clean.

I don't understand how woman have so much clothing that they need the whole closet. When do they get to wear all that stuff? // Why use individual strips of moulding? Pole wrap would be easier, or is it a budget thing - or maybe Lowes don't sell pole wrap. // I'm not sure about two colours of paint plus wallpaper. I think it would've looked better with just one colour of paint on the ceiling and upper walls. Either colour would have done. As is it's just too busy.

That is a reeded headboard, not fluted. It turned out really well!

Not a fan of the ceiling or wall colors but I did like the overall design of the bedroom including the wood trim and both of the wallpapers used. The closet wouldn't work for me but I'm more of a dresser drawer fan for my bulky winter sweaters, sweatshirts, tee shirts, jeans, underwear, socks.

Note to Commenters: That "chair in front of a door"? That is a CLOSET, or, a door to outside?? I think closet.

There's a lock, with key in it, on that door near the knob. People don't have BATHROOMS they can be locked INTO.

The TV is on a swivel mount, They can easily move it when they want to shut that door.

Isn't that door the door to her NOW BEAUTIFUL closet?
It 's not easily seen into by people in their hallway, so, it cam stay open all the time now --Monica provided HUGE incentive to keep that closet orderly.

This woman, whose house this is, either REALLY doesn't like the colors chosen OR she's an extremely low-key, and polite, lady.

Monica, you know I love you but I have to say that with this particular makeover not convinced that she still was happy with the room color maybe just her personality and she’s not a very vocal enthusiastic person. She’s just more of a quiet yeah I like it lol. I will have to say I was like oh I don’t know if I like those colors, and it wasn’t the one that went on the ceiling didn’t like it was the creamy beige one that went on the walls. It all came together very beautiful and once you added the wood features to it and the peel and stick absolutely gorgeous out better than my vision! as for the closet love it definitely will be referring back to this particular video for that particular closet wall style because I have a bedroom that I want to turn into a walk-in closet/home office and I love the look of that closet and all of the aesthetics that go with it! As usual job well done over a weekend!

Finished room doesn’t look like ANY hotel. Can’t imagine having to give up 2/3 of my wardrobe a success. Monica is cute, but definitely not an interior designer. lol! Monica leaves and Tia and Norm say, “Quick let’s paint the ceiling a color that doesn’t look like a cave.”

closet looks beautiful but where is she going to hang all the clothes she had in there? there's only half of the rod from before? and that wooden bench is kewl but where they have it placed, you can't fully open the closet door. smh

The geometric mirror over the dresser is so nice, I immediately went to the description to see if it was linked, unfortunately it was not. Now my journey to hunt down that mirror begins, lol. If anyone knows what it's called, please share.

So, enjoy your creative transformations. I grew up watching my mom build and work on projects nearly every weekend of my childhood. I just wish I had the same knowledge and ability that she had. However, I'm beginning to get excited to tackle a project of my own after seeing how doable it really can be. Thanks for the inspiration.

Seeing the ceiling color at first made me unsure but knew Monica would do some magic and everthing turned out cohesive!

I am a fan of that closet system; I once had to give up a California Closet system from my previous home that prior owner had installed but now I feel I can do one of my own version and I may get "adventurous" and add wallpaper!
