No, not really. Drifting has been around a lot longer than posh city slickers with track vehicles think. Country folk have been drifting cars through the pecan orchards and pine forests for years. Fallen leaves and grass are even more slippery than asphalt. Tree trunks make convenient if not unforgiving pylons and obstacles. Loved my Datsun B210 for it's awesome drift qualities.
