Many Thanks for This Video ♥
ОтветитьTravel and street photography are really close genres from a technical point of view.
ОтветитьVery good tips. I have been printing my photos for years.
ОтветитьHi Matti, thanks for a great video. Rather then buying a small pack for your GR iii I recommend the small leather case which is available from either Ricoh or B and H in New York. The case goes on your belt and is supper easy to use. I also recommend the leather wrist strap. This strap has a cinch, so you can tighten the strap, so it is impossible to drop the camera. I know that these are expensive options, but they are worth it in my opinion as they make the camera easier to use. I don't recommend the optical view finder, it just isn't accurate enough.
ОтветитьTip #7: always use a wrist strap with a Ricoh GR.
ОтветитьI always thought travel photography is an offshoot of street photography and architectural photography. And your photos demonstrate my point ably. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat vid and tips. When I'm planning the budget for any holiday, I always include the cost of a photo-book. It's great to look back now on more than a decade of holiday photo-books....
Ответитьesta bem
ОтветитьThanks Matti. I hope you enjoyed that beer 🍺😋

ОтветитьI agree with you and the last one is the best :-).
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьMatti!!! The Eduardino licor shop was a great surprise from our walk!!
All the best to you guys!!!
Good tips. Did you had the gopro on a tripod or was somebody holding it?
ОтветитьBonus tip is a gem.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьI wonder, are you nazi?
ОтветитьGood stuff
Tip - stick a PCM recorder between mic and camera. I use an Olympus LS14. Very small, simple to use, built like a brick and utterly reliable.
When the GoPro fails, yes they do.
I started using external audio recorder (Tascam 4-track) shooting movies of rock bands on the GH4 because the dB level was so high. Total overkill but the LS14 is hardly any bigger than an old Nokia mobile.
Nowadays I hardly take photos if I don't have somehow a presentation in mind As you know I have made a series of photobooks, which are available for our guests. Making pictures just to let them hibernate on my hard drive isn't inspiring anymore.
Ответитьi can't agree more with the suggestion to print; so much imagery these days is shared nearly instantly and forgotten almost as quickly and then never revisited. it has never been easier to produce quality, inexpensive prints from digital images. printing doesn't need to be reserved for special occasions or events or holidays. i constantly recommend to friends and clients to print regularly, even if they're just printing favorites from their phones or snapshots from their cameras.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed your tips. I personal don't take photos of people.....but here in Cambodia, I love taking candid shots of monks at pagodas. This country is awesome for photography 📷
ОтветитьThank you for sharing and being a part of it!
ОтветитьGreat tips and reminder: ENJOY THE JOURNEY!❣👍
