The ref fuck up when Ali knock down Bonavina ,the ref should have asked Bonavena if he could continue ,hold his hands together lift it up then let them continue ,that would have gave Bonavena time to recover, the refs in those days sucked

Bonavena got set up in this one. I'm an Ali fan to the max, but the ref was a joke. No neutral corner, no eight count. Ali said "move ref, let me give him this two piece and a biscuit !".😂

Ali is a man with insane stamina he was moving most of the time and still looked less tired than a man who was just standing around.

When i watch Ali fights ...hes mediocre at best. He fights men, who cant fight and he likes to take punches to the head. No wonder he was punch drunk.

Don't understand the confusion Cosell and the other Announcer had over Ali being flat-footed.
In his interview before the fight Ali said he wouldn't be dancing as much, and he actually said he would be flat footed! Cowell seemed to be anti Ali in this fight!

Bonaventure should of stayed down a bit longer after the 1st knock down. He never cleared his head. And the 3rd knock down clearly proves that. Plus no standing 8 count.

The commentator was so biased. He kept criticizing Ali, but at the end... He has to lick what he was spitting throughout.

Repeatedly going in to clinch but then trying to sneak in a high hook is dirty fighting. Even with that dirty tactic, Bonavena couldn't win this one. ALI IS KING
