Is it normal for the fps to drop several times in this game on PS5?

I think I'm going to turn performance mode off and play at 30 FPS lol Sounds wild 🤪

I prefer quality mode settings. But I can't accept 30fps.

Now this might sound stupid but Idk why when comparing graphic qualities in video games. I can only notice the difference when it is an static picture.

As soon as the moment motion is introduced in the matter. My mind just upscale the quality to ultra settings 😂😂😂

I prefer performance 60fps in pretty much every game I play. 30fps makes every game feel more sluggish and blurry.

I have a ps4 disc of this game. Can i upgrade it on ps5?

Ray tracing is nice but the sacrifice of 30fps isn’t worth it. Would be nice if it was playable at 40fps with ray tracing using VRR

Probably the best looking U4 game, they really need to get off U4, it's archaic now, plastic looking in most cases and apart from this game (certain parts you can tell its U4) they all look very samey.

U will see notice able quality in 4k tv maybe

I dont realy care about frame rates graphics are more mh thing so if i ever get a ps5 i prefer quality mode

Lighting effects and shadows are downgraded quite a bit on performance mode on PS5

Ive been thinking this for a while! That quality mode and preforming mode are both bs, the extra details are just add ons that im sure they can add on preform mode if they wanted to

I'm noticing slightly more dynamic lighting fx in quality mode but overall graphics look nearly identical. Well done team!
I kept swapping between the two, sometimes I feel like things look better outside of performance mode but honestly there's not much of any noticable difference besides the dynamic lighting in a couple spots. I thought fog would get cut down outside of quality mode but nope, still goes strong. I can't see a reason to not play in performance mode at this point.

xbox x has no performance mode option as far as i can see. its not in any settings in main menu or in game

So basically mor smoke details on the 30fps...and more sweat/details on performance? All i know is i have glitched out of the map and crashed multiple times on my PS5 running Performance mode...still gonna stick with it tho

To anyone who plays any game at 30fps quality, disable motion blur and of course you should choose game mode on your tv then all is good 👍🏻

I'm quite surprised by how few people are aware of stuttering problems on UE4 games.
I usually keep my distance from these types of games until I know that they sorted their stutter problems on PC.
