Tensioner would be be good, and changing the blade will mean taking a lot of that apart. But still like the fact that it's a working band saw for the price of the blade and wood.

WTF happened to adjusting the blade so it doesn't wobble around in the 'wooden' compartment? Lack of bearings for the wheels and nothing to stabilize the blade. Nah, not even trying this one, and I need a cheap way to make one, not a deadly way. Good concept man, but lacking some safety.

There is no way to tension the blade, I can see it flipping all over the place. The back saw guide doesn't even look like it's touching the blade the way you just screwed it on lol. I am going to make a homemade bandsaw one of these days, but definitely won't be following this set-up. I would be seriously worried that saw is just going to ride off of of them wooden wheels.

Irrespective of whether it's factory made or homemade, a bandsaw must have an exposed blade. If you're an idiot, you'll hurt yourself and deserve it.
Having a bandsaw myself, I don't think much of this home job. There's no blade guides, there seems to be little adjustability, and, well, a bandsaw requires a lot of respect. There's no scope for "moments of no attention" when operating it - or any shop tool - and I wouldn't trust this thing.
