I enjoy watching all of your fabulous tutorials. FYI: I absolutely despise using the poly burlap because it frays to heck and back. I know that most of you lady crafters use a wood burner on the poly burlap mesh, but I cannot use a wood burner because I have asthma. My question is what would you reccomend using since I can't use the Poly Burlap mesh? any help would be greatly appreciated. God Bless.
ОтветитьI know this is 3 years old, but it was very informative and helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat is floral mesh? Thank you
ОтветитьFound poly burlap mesh at Michaels. It’s 100% polypropylene made in India.
ОтветитьI bought decorative mesh, is this the same of deco mesh
ОтветитьThank you, and it is so very helpful.
ОтветитьI'm not thrilled with the Hobby lobby Mesh either but it is way better than the Michaels.
ОтветитьPoly burlap mesh can be purchased at Hobby Lobby and Michael's. Purchased some last month 😊
ОтветитьThanks for the video it really was helpful. I love your videos
Ответитьused Deco poly mesh it frayed terribly can you tell me why?
Ответитьwhat would you use the yellow poly burlap check mesh for?
ОтветитьIs the poly burlap from Michael’s the same as what you use? Or is it less in quality? Thank you for all you share and teach.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the wood burning tool you use?
ОтветитьThis was such a great video ❤. Thank you so much for the information
ОтветитьLoved this video but I still have a question..if you cut jute with cutter or scissors will it fray? Also, I assume any type of burlap must be cut with a wood burner because it will fray? Very frustrated with deco mesh that frays, I need a plan B. Lol
ОтветитьThank you for sharing, very helpfull,I am new to crafting,❤
Ответитьthank you so mesh for explaining the differences between all of them. I am VERY new at mesh wreaths. What do you think I should try first? I saw some of your wreaths and they are GORGEOUS!
ОтветитьThank you!!!!!
ОтветитьPlease accept my thanks! You NEVER bore me and have great tutorials for someone who makes wreaths as gifts and not for sale i.e., many less wreaths. I need be more budget-aware, and you help with that as well. Thanks again.
ОтветитьPlaylist! Yes please!
ОтветитьExcellent information
ОтветитьSnowball
ОтветитьThank you so much. It was very helpful 🙂
ОтветитьThis video answered ALL my questions as I’m a beginner. I unfortunately started off making a sunflower wreath for my mom’s 92nd birthday. Never having made one before. I very uneducatedly bought the Deco Poly mesh. What a nightmare for this beginner. But I fought it and pushed through and persevered. It turned out very pretty with the exception of constantly pulling off strings off of it just looking at it. You are right, it does have a mind of its own and it will let you know. You completely made sense with all the different kinds to where I feel comfortable now and am actually excited to create another one. Thank you for taking your time to explicitly explain each. Someone in GA.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video Julie 😘❤️
I’m new to wreath making & you have just explained the difference between the fabrics so well.
Also seeing them together was helpful too. 😃👍🏽

Do you have a newer list of who carries poly burlap or the type of deco mesh that the stores are carrying now. I know michaels carries it now but wondering if others are too and just call it something else.
ОтветитьCan fabric mesh or poly burlap mesh be used to make wreaths besides flower wreaths? I’m thinking about switching to those two because the deco definitely has a mind of its own
Ответитьfabric mesh looks beautiful. thanks for this informative video
ОтветитьThank you!!! You made me Smarter with this video.💞
ОтветитьJulie I love watching your video. But can you please remember not all your viewers live in the States. You have a lot of UK followers too.xx
ОтветитьJulie I love your videos. But can you please remember. Some people who watch live in the UK.xc
ОтветитьI been learning the wood burner, just apply pressure to the wood burner also
ОтветитьI know this is an old video but I hope you still notice these questions. Does Poly Burlap feel like plastic/rubber?
ОтветитьCan u put the poly burlap over the ply deco mesh to heat seal. Asking because I can't it to fuse either way....very frustrating! I'm doing just like u have shown & got both types of mesh from wreath & Bow. Now it will fuse when I cut of edge to make even b4 I get started cutting the rest. Plz help! Lol....thanks, Cheri
ОтветитьCan I buy this in the uk x
ОтветитьThank you so much for your video! Do you use the paper mesh? If so can you do a video on it. I would like to try it but I'm kinda worried about what I can make with it.
ОтветитьVery useful video Julie I really needed that information. Thanks again for another great video.
ОтветитьHow big are the square size? Great video!
ОтветитьI got this really weird what I thought was deco mesh at Michaels ? It’s stripes but is heavy and almost like rubber ? Any thoughts? Ty I love your videos !
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video. Your tutorials are amazing.
ОтветитьThank you just learning the difference
ОтветитьThank you for teaching me the differences. You’re awesome 🌺
ОтветитьJULIE THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL REGARDING DIFFERENT MESHES, IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND ENJOYED LEARNING MORE ABOOUT THE MESHES. I USED DECO MESH WAY BACK IN THE BEGINNING AND DIFFERENT UNDERSTAND WHY WHEN i CUT IT IT EASILY RAVELED, I STRAYED AWAY FROM IT AND I STARTED WITH THE 5.5" BURLAP AND USED SORT OF A RUFFLE WREATH AND STUCK WITH THAT AND COLORED BURLAP ONLY THE 5.5. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND TUTORIALS, YOU ARE A GREAT TEACHER. !!! GOD BLESS YOU ! 8/26/21
ОтветитьThank you for the information. I didn’t have a clue that there were so many types of burlap. 😂 I’m a newbie in the crafting world
ОтветитьI just purchased poly burlap mesh from michaels. Was 9.99 on sale for .99
ОтветитьThank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! I got my order for poly burlap yesterday, today, I have cut out my leave/petals, and attached 1 so far. I had to stop and Thank You. The poly burlap is so much easier on the hands than the deco mesh, It covers better, it cuts better with the wood burner, and it just looks better than the deco mesh. Once I use up my deco mesh, I might not ever buy anything but the poly burlap again, I Love It. Once again, Thank you for sharing this info, and your time with all of us, as well as your talent.
ОтветитьThank You for sharing this with all of us. I really learned a lot from this video, like the fact that, although poly burlap is more expensive to buy than deco mesh, it's less expensive in the long run, because you use less of it. Also that fabric mesh, is also better than deco mesh. Its a case of, less expensive is not always better, because, you get what you pay for. I will definitely rethink what I buy, and make my wreaths out of. Once again, Thank You for sharing this, I really needed it.
ОтветитьThank you! So much.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. Yes, this was so so helpful😊😊
ОтветитьThank you for explaining the differences.
