The fpv is meant to be a raw flying experience at high speed. The camera quality is a secondary consideration.
ОтветитьThis video has a focus on video recording. You shouldn’t buy either of these if you want to make videos for whatever reason you do.. these are not your typical camera drone, the speed is way too fast, the battery life is way too short compared to a real camera drone like the air 2s.. now.. at the same time these are not “racing drones” in the sense if you look into what a racing drone is… your not going to be at the flight course racing others that have a baby ape or whatever.. to me, these 2 drones are in their own class as they don’t fit the bill for either a camera or racing drone. They can do a little both.. why in the hell would u put a go pro on top of either of these? Waste of time,, take the money u would on the gopro and buy a different drone 🤔 I did not expect to hear about all the pros and cons mainly about the damn video recording lol … I mean seriously if you are making a video talking about if they are still worth it and you are complaining of the battery life because you have to spend the extra time to install it on the drone and also the bad battery life you get with a loaded down drone, you are in the wrong hobby. Maybe bowling is betting suited for you! Grab that GoPro and strap it to your bowling hat but please, don’t make a video complaining how heavy it is on your head and that it affects your bowling skills 😂 Lordy
Just my opinion that is all.. cheers!
Can’t get more biased than this
ОтветитьVery good comparison. I'm willing to buy my first drone but everything was confusing between these two but now I can clearly decide which one I want.
Ответитьjust saying... m DJI FPV drone lasts bout 18 minutes per battery x3 batteries
Ответитьi lost my Avata on a volcano when i turned too hard. tumble of death avata sucks
ОтветитьIs there a drone which can used with goggles and remote with screen ?
ОтветитьI have a avata and setting it up takes a fat minute. Have to power everything up then plug the cables to the goggles. Having to connect the battery and cable from phone to goggles is the biggest draw back for me. Other than that the AVATA is dope. And yes i do know the goggles integra eliminates these cables but il also lose some stuff the goggles 2 has
ОтветитьCongratulations for the video; good job!
Ответитьfrom the start of the video I thaught you were filming on Gran Canaria, now at the end, I know it because i were there on Roque Nublo. Anyway i took my Mavic 3 on a ride there..
ОтветитьThank you for your content. I have one question. do you know any simulator that can use DJI RC motion 2? I'm just starting out and this is an important question for me
Ответитьi was doubting my avata, but it's been nothing short of amazing. and i've been flying drones since 2010 - ish.., when dji was called naza. i flew helis and planes long before...but so crazy the progression.
ОтветитьJust fly the thing. For video or camera functions, i use my dji mavic. The fpv is for ripping fun. That's why you can't pan the camera.
Bad comparison. This should be about which flys as an first person vehicle. Not a high cenima movie unit. Thank you though.
I want to film rally cars, would the Avata be fast enough?
Ответитьlol after listening to it, I feel like your conclusion is: Buy Both 😅
ОтветитьTalking about the DJI FPV carrying a lot of weight.. I don't know how to respond to you as a phantom 4 pro user...
ОтветитьThe fpv isnt designed as a photog platform. The fpv is meant for FPV not media. This guys review is very biased.
ОтветитьI thought firmware solved the turn drop issue with Avata. Right?
ОтветитьI think it's best to have both and if you already have the first one you can get just the Avata drone & batteries to cut down on costs. Also the goggles you can use in DIY builds for risky flights when a crash is cheaper to fix, DIY builds you choose/make your parts and can make them stronger and goggles v2 seem most compatible right now, pity DJI does not make latest stuff backward compatible at least not straight away.
ОтветитьI would get Avata but I heard that noise coming from that one is particularly bad. Is that true? Is FPV any better?
Also, if I understand correctly, you are implying that camera that comes with Avata is better than FPV? How much does mounting a go pro on top of FPV impacts it's flight time? Thank you.
Awesome video, great review! Im ❤ing the new Avata. I just did my first HD indoor flight and it was amazing. I posted it on my channel if you want to check it out. 👍 from Pittsburgh 😊
ОтветитьYou can go to settings and there’s a setting where you delete the propellers out of the image 😂
ОтветитьUse my avata for tight, low wind shots, while i use my fpv for days with more wind or i need to chase something thats going faster
ОтветитьGreat video,, so when using the v2 Goggles do u have to plug in a phone to fly the dji avatar
ОтветитьFPV still worth it. Avata as well, but I will probably get something else as my second O3 quad. If you are looking for a digital entry point, I recommend you to get either one, does not matter much, if you get a complete one. I got the FPV because it was a better money deal for me. Now I can get just the Avata chepaer if I want to. Then after you have the base, get the other one (it is way cheaper). You can also get many other options with O3 compatibility. It becomes easy. But both are awesome as an entry point. =) To my surprise, the other ones are not cheap as well, and they don't offer GPS failsafe, so they're not that awesome as people have been saying. So, don't hear people who say this or that against, that is bullshit. They are rock solid, high quality drones. I had many FPV quads before, I am not a beginner, and I am telling you, it's worth the money.
ОтветитьThe go pro on fpv can block the signal.
Been addressed from a few channels now.
They looks pretty good ! Now if I only I had one and could bring to the Philippines when I go next month 📸🇵🇭
ОтветитьDid you use the new googles on the DJI FPV, because I want to buy the DJI FPV with the Integra Goggles.
Great Drone Videos, it really helps a lot especially for beginners like me
