Ah yes, the goode olde Lava Walk, one of the Rifts highlights :D
Note there is a spot where you can use it as a shortcut.

You may find this to be one of the areas with high enemy density and respawns,
so to keep respawns lower and also avoid that the constantly moving groups close in,
i enter combat to pick up the ton of loot they drop, may even run in combat mode repatedly at spots where it counts,
e.g. to pass the vision field of a group at a spot where they have no path to the party and will eventuall retreat anyway.
