best version ever!
ОтветитьSammy is incredibly talented. Great dancer, singer and tap dancer. However, it has always been my belief that his greatest talent was his speaking voice, especially when he would talk to his audience. Unbelievable talent. So sorely missed and needed.
Ответитьgenius
ОтветитьMakes ya choke
Ответить🥃12/8 🥃
ОтветитьMakes me think of my dearly departed mother, loved Sammy, she always played this on the “hifi” lol. Smiles and tears 😢.never be another person like Sammy Davis Jr again
ОтветитьThis moves my soul, any version as always!;) Peace and Love all ;)
ОтветитьOne of if not the greatest songs and stories ever. RIP Mr Walker and Sammy Davis❤️
ОтветитьSammy was unquestionably the greatest entertainer America ever produced, no question about it.
ОтветитьI miss him ❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢RIP 🙏
ОтветитьI was so lucky to see Sammy in London 3 times, he once finished a song, wasn't happy with it and sung the last half again, amazing. He did a different show every time, so many talents in this genious of a man. His singing was beyond glorious, and Mr Bojangles was my absolute favourite. Love you Sammy. X
ОтветитьThe film TAP was a good way to remember him.
ОтветитьYou got me! The spell consuming me! I give you all I got!❤
ОтветитьWatching this 50 years after he performed this and it still is mesmerizing gives one tingles what a talented entertainer and epic performance no one will ever do half as well.
ОтветитьThis is one song that can never be remade. It’s too good and no one could do a better job. What a talented and classy guy.

ОтветитьIch liebe dieses Lied und Sammy Davis. Was für ein Künstler. 🤩
ОтветитьI'm 65 years old. I grew up watching Mr. Sammy Davis Jr., who at that time in the 60s and 70 was a household name. He was a great entertainer. A gifted showman and
the greatest singer to ever take stage. He was the greatest.
The Greatest Entertainer of all Times.
ОтветитьI miss you Sammy.
ОтветитьLove that Sammy Davis Jr...... Great Great entertainer right up to the end 🔚
ОтветитьEven though I know the words to this amazing song, I can’t stop listening as Sammy singing Mr Bojangles’ story building up to the end. Incomparable.
ОтветитьI remember playing this song when my dog was alive ,it's sound so different now that my dog has died.
ОтветитьSammi was amasing and he Still is.there was one Elvis Presley and one sammi Davis ❤
ОтветитьMr. Bojangles…I envision. 🎶🖤🎶💕
ОтветитьHe went on later to talk about another artist who had a dog, as if he had written the song, should of been ashamed of himself to take credit for another artist and what the song meant,
ОтветитьGenius. Singer, dancer, actor, and more!
Ответить👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤ I always shed tears when the lyrics are sang “The dog up and died… after 20 years he still grieves” 😢 that’s me, i still grieve over my boys 🐾 🙏🏽 Great Performance. Slowed it down and made the song last a little longer, Gave the song even more character than it already had. Well Done Sammy ❤
ОтветитьThere will never be another like him- what a massive talent!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьLove
ОтветитьSammy was so multi talented, people focus on his song and dance, but there was so much more to him. Miss the old guys so much.
ОтветитьTank ypu Sammy
ОтветитьToday i m still learning
ОтветитьIts never too late to learn about art
ОтветитьWhat talent!!!
ОтветитьVery less artists represented the "good old times" as he did! Truly a born entertainer 👌
Thx from Munich, Sammy 🙏
Amazing talent. I will never get tired of this song. Never!
ОтветитьSammy Davis Jr.
ОтветитьNever be another Sammy Davis
ОтветитьAs a student of history.... I always think about what I missed.... What I never got the chance to see.... I heard about that Chitlin Circuit and Vaudville that had some of the world's absolute best acts and performances I'll never see because the technology wasn't there to capture it. What little tech they had back then was extremely expensive and hard to move around so they weren't going to use it to show Black Acts. Most of the white acts you seen in movies stole there acts and moves from the Greats of the time before them.... My hat will forever be off to those who paved the way.
ОтветитьThe first time I ever heard was when Sammy Davis Jr song it on tv. Then I heard NGDB on it. I also got to see Jerry Jeff Walker do his song live at a music festival in Meridian, Tx. I used to do it my old rock and country band.
ОтветитьHeart Warming, heart breaking, comfort and dispair. Holy shit, Sammy Davis Jr. Pure magic.
ОтветитьReading a book about Sinatra and it talks about the friendship between Sammy and Frank so I played this video of Sammy. He was the best,so good.
