The EU have tried to influence the election by chucking money at Georgia to buy pro EU opinion thus supporting pro EU parties. Joining the EU would be a disaster for proud Georgians who would see their sovereignty surrendered to unelected eurocrats 2000 miles away in Brussels

I'm an American living in Georgia. Every Georgian I know wants to become a part of the EU and is against the 'Dream Party', especially younger people. There is little doubt that this election is tainted by pro-Russian elements.

Because of the West's strenuous efforts in the Moldovan elections, we were able to swing those elections in the EUs favor. Thankfully subverted successfully.
But in these Georgian elections despite huge efforts to tilt the election we couldnt pass the half way mark. Tragically the subversion was not enough. We could only bring down the Non-EU vote down from 60 to 54 %. But that wasnt enough. Huge tragedy.
