I am thankful for my husband. His enjoyment of cigars brings him contentment and peace, for that reason, I love cigars as well.
Thank you Tim for your well spoken reminder that we all need to spend a moment to embrace what gives us joy and inner contentment.
Wise words 👌🍻🤘
ОтветитьI’m so grateful for my neighbor Mr. Gonzales, who is well into his 70’s, and his stories of his service and travels. He’s given me so much advice and a different perspective on life.
ОтветитьHey Tim, I'm one those "old men" (77) you spoke of here in this episode😃 In addition to the changes we all see as we age, one of worst things we experience is seeing old friends and family members pass away before you, many times they are younger than you! On a brighter note, I just built an "in house" lounge in my home and nothing beats a good cigar and a scotch in my "cave" as my wife calls it. Thanks for all of the reviews of cigars and humidors, etc. - its definitely increases the enjoyment of trying new smokes. Congrats on reaching 200k subscribers - you earned it!!😃 I plan to visit Phoenix next winter and will stop by and say Hi.
ОтветитьIt’s the people you meet along the way……
ОтветитьAs I am on the cusp of 50 (1 more year)I am thankful for the opportunity to share in this passion with my nephew-he's 24 and an old soul.
ОтветитьThankful for my family! The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife and healthy children! Thanks for all you do brother!
Ответитьgreat video, ive always tried to hang out with older guys like my grandads. im most thankful for my cigar celebrations each week. i fire up a cigar , open my moms bible and read it in rememberence of her and listen to gospel music. thank you JESUS !
ОтветитьNice words Tim, one of your best episodes ever. Cigars smoking is one of the best pleasures in life, and you would get to know really good friends while enjoying your smoking time, May your friends' souls RIP.
ОтветитьThoughtful. Thanks Tim. In my 68th year. It’s nice to think our knowledge is worth something, social cleansing erases our history and culture. So often we feel disrespected. Insult our culture and think you deserve our money. I digress. Thanks for the kind words
Ответитьhappy i get to wake up next to the woman i love. the dogs that are happy just to see me walk through the door. and the community that i hav cultivated around me through the years ive been breathing.
ОтветитьThanks Tim, so on point
ОтветитьI am 32 years old and got into cigars because my father smokes them. Thankfully, my fiancé and I live only 15 minutes from my parents house.
I take every opportunity, which I am blessed to say is once or twice a week, to smoke a cigars with my pops and chew the fat. I cherish every single second of it.
Tim, I'm a retired airline pilot that just turned 70 this year. I've logged over 25,000 hours with an airplane strapped to my ass, and needless to say, my list of life experiences runs pretty deep. And now, not because I'm officially an "old fart", but I'm grateful for your perspective, insights, and your ability to express them so well! Great video! Keep up the good work. I'll be watching -
ОтветитьI am nearly 68 and have my share of aches. Yes I still work. I wish we had a cigar lounge in our small town. I make up for that loss in the summer when I can grab a cigar a beverage and go sit on driftwood on the beach.
ОтветитьGlad you made this video, it's an important thing to consider and to keep in the back of your mind.
I'm grateful for my stepdad, who introduced me to cigars and for the times we've bonded together smoking them.
Grateful as well for my pastor who is a cigar smoker as well and for the time that we've spent together discussing theology and the Lord while enjoying our "burnt offerings" haha
I’m enjoying smoking cigars with my dad and brother. Also enjoy going to cigar lounge and meeting new people and making friends.
ОтветитьI didn’t know DOC but I knew DOC…if that makes any sense…I’m a Veteran…Deepest Condolences to his family………Thought provoking and great presentation young man……..👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

ОтветитьTim, best video I've seen in a very long time. Excellent
ОтветитьAt age 70, Ive been blessed with pretty good health, Cigars and Pipes are my solace, a time of meditation, reflection and great conversation. I have a cigar with a guy who is 86 and we meet once a week and he still has stories that amaze me. We have a bond with cigars, sip coffee and just BS. This is a hi light of my week. Don't ever think you're too smart or too old to learn something new and the best way to do that is have a cigar and relax.
ОтветитьGreat video ..I'm 68. Don't really feel like an old guy. But guess I might be. But you meet very cool people in a cigar lounge. Even older than me. Because I'm older I do buy better cigars. Life's too short now. Lol.
ОтветитьLove this, Tim! You should write a book about all the stories and advice you’ve heard around older folks while smoking premium cigars.
Keep up the positive content!
Yo man! This hits hard, losing my father to cancer recently has made me really cherish every moment I get doing the things I love. I’m glad I found your channel.
ОтветитьSuch a wonderful message thank you
ОтветитьI'm thankful for my mother, father, and sister.
Brilliant video.
Thank you
ОтветитьA best friend I deployed over to Iraq recently passed away. While in Iraq he used to always carry a huge cigar box. We would smoke a cigar in the morning before everybody woke up before we hit the rack with a cup of black coffee…
Thanks to him, I collect cigars and drink scotch now.
Funny thing is, not a word would be said while we smoked our cigars, just enjoyed the moment and the occasional sand in our coffee and cigar.
Life is too short to not enjoy every minute of it.
Great video!, I'm 38 as well and agree 100% that we all can learn alot from the older generations. To me, premium cigars are something that I feel represents the masculinity and classic tradition of a gentleman, a man's man. Funny thing is since I've started smoking cigars, some of my younger family, wife as well which is 12 years older, have deemed me to being an old man lol
ОтветитьSorry for your loss.
ОтветитьJust celebrated my 50th a few months ago! Truly grateful for the time I'm able to spend enjoying a good cigar. Much of my time, professionally, is spent listening to and ultimately taking care of the needs of others. I appreciate the time smoking cigars allows me to take care of myself. Everyone benefits from me learning how to better care for myself...
Ответить24 and I wish there were more lounges in my area, but defiantly enjoy traveling the hour to my nearest lounge who recently lost one of their older members and was a really cool guy
ОтветитьIt's crazy I'm now the same age as OLD guys. :(
ОтветитьWow! You absolutely nailed it! My dad and I would try to go to our local cigar lounge twice a week but Covid hit and changed everything. He started to get better but unfortunately he passed away on July 10th of this year at almost 83 years old. He would smoke or just hold his pipe and would tell so many wonderful stories. As his health declined I heard those same stories many times over but I would give anything to hear those old stories again. The first time I went back to the lounge I sat in my usual chair and he would normally be in his wheelchair right next to me. Was really tough but everyone treats us like family and that made me feel better. I would give anything to go back in time but as you mentioned life is short and we are definitely not promised tomorrow. He knew I always wanted to get into the cigar industry and praying my interview goes well tomorrow. If it all works out I will have my foot in the door. Enjoy life and embrace it! Thanks for your wonderful videos and I hope to make it out to Phoenix one day. My grandparents are buried out there and I would love to stop by to visit the shop to see where all the magic happens!
ОтветитьDoesn't seem like much but I am so incredibly thankful to be able to get home on a Monday night, have dinner with my wife, grab a nice cigar and sit down and play Xbox with a great group of friends that no longer live near me. Being able to connect with them once a week and just catch up on life and joke around and have 2 hours or so of being able to relax and just forget about the little things in life and just be at ease. That is what I look forward to every week.
ОтветитьGood talk!!!
ОтветитьTruth. I'm 65 and still enjoy meeting gentlemen who are much older. Never considered myself an "old guy" but on Friday evenings at the lounge, I'm the old guy.
ОтветитьI'm thankful for people like you that produce good content for us to sit back and enjoy life as it seems to slow down just a bit so we can savor the moment!!
ОтветитьPreparing for a joyful, peaceful death!
ОтветитьIm thankful for the opportunity to even exist. Everything else is icing on the cake.
ОтветитьAmen brother I'm thankful for everyone who came before me great friends I've lost family I thank God everyday for my life my love my sons I tell children everyday God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason listen more than you speak that's learning ❤knowledge is power
Ответитьthe thing I am thankful for? well... one thing
ОтветитьI’m thankful to have children of my own watching them grow and learn is quite fascinating to me.
ОтветитьFirst of all, I absolutely love that Doc decided to donate his cigar collection to members of the armed services; one badass helping other badasses continue to be badass!
As for what I'm thankful for, yesterday...and on several other occasions...my wife I and I enjoyed a cigar together and talked about (among other things) how proud we are of our kids.
I'm also thankful for a Facebook forum my buddy (and mentor) invited me to join, which has placed me in contact specifically with fellow musicians who enjoy premium cigars.
Thank you very much for your words they meant a lot in the grand scheme of things.
ОтветитьI'm 55 now. Don't pay attention to my profile pic... that's 15 years old. I've been smoking cigars for over 20 years. The problem I see with the youngins is they don't want to admit they're wrong. There was a review channel I used to watch but stopped because the young guy was one of those people. He was reviewing a cigar and the wrapper cracked. He blamed the cigar. He was wrong. He explained that one of his viewers sent him the cigar and he jumped right into it. That's a mistake. I gently told him it wasn't the cigar's fault, but the humidity. I told him the cigar went through temperature and humidity changes during its adventure in the US mail system. I said he needs to let cigars regulate in a humidor for a week or two before smoking them. He wouldn't believe me and started calling silly names. Kids today. He didn't want to learn. He wanted someone to blame that wasn't him. Also, I can't run or lift anything anymore. Getting old sucks.
ОтветитьDamn Tim you hit me right in the feels 😢
ОтветитьWonderful video! I’m most thankful that I get to spend my life with the love of my life. She has helped me become a much better version of myself than I ever could have hoped for. And nothing beats lighting up a cigar to be thankful and remind myself of how good life turned out. Keep up the good work! 🔥
ОтветитьI'm thankful to be alive today and I'm more thankful to Jesus Christ for waking me up today .
ОтветитьMy kids
