Beautiful music, so wonderfully interpreted by the orchestra. The flute and the recorder remind me of birds singing together, maybe a dove and a blackbird 🙂

As someone who played both pieces many times I gave you my best compliments to soloists and wonderful orchestra. The choice of playing together the Fantasy as an intro was beautiful and genious.

My introduction to music in general, and classical in particular, was a soprano recorder that my aunt Lucy gave me when I was 15 years old. She taught me one song and after I learned she said I was on my own. Today I play many different wind instruments and have even made some myself and I do it all just for the enjoyment of making sounds that are beautiful and pleasing to me, mostly! Baroque music in particular fascinates me and I agree with most of the comments that Telemann is way underrated and I can't figure why because every piece I've ever heard from me is fabulous. Cheers and keep the music alive by listening or making some as often as possible.

So my 6, 7, ? time watchin an 'then' I notice; the viola, or the fancy piano type or Mr. Guitar, or, or! And it occurs this beauty can only be appreciated in pieces of such depth by repeated listening. How often the mere opportunity one may even get, to ever by chance, come upon this? Thanksgiving in; 36 hrs.

The sound of this is very fine, but like a lot of people, I hate watching anybody play the recorder the way she does. The exaggerated mouth movements, the pointless shoulder raising, the swaying, the recorder going right to left. We call it "eating the recorder." At a concert, I can only stare at my knees for so long, and if I close my eyes I risk falling asleep. When it comes to the visual, I want quiet dignity, so I can concentrate on the sound of the music.

Fantastisch. Super gemacht. Die beiden Flöten harmonieren 1a. Blockflöte ist ein zu Unrecht unterschätztes Instrument, denke ich. Was ich besonders schätze, ist die Farbe, die sie den Tuttistellen verleiht, wenn sie gerade mitspielt.
