Just bought a bunch of switches to replace my two G203s. I got G203s because I just like their sensor and they're very easy to take apart. Already got the Omrom D2FC-F-K(50M)-RZ installed on my black one. Just waiting for the Kailh Green dot, GM 4.0, 8.0 and Omron D2F-F-3-7 to arrive and pick one of them for my white one.

I have been soldering electronics for 6 years as a hobbyist, from electric guitar to pedals, to mechanical keyboard, audio equipment, etc. I ALWAYS dreaded de-soldering anything because how pain in the ass the process was.

Seeing you de-soldering a joint using that drill gun thingy made me so pissed at myself for not knowing such a thing existed, but at the same time makes me so excited on the possibilities of so many projects I have abandoned just to avoid the arduous traditional de-soldering process.

I replaced silent switch on my Logitech G305 mouse. Now the keys press by themselves due to the weight of my finger. It was very soft.

Never buy Logitech mouse and you wont come across double click issues

Just did this mod and replaced the Omron switches with Kailh 8.0 switches. Funny enough, the other switches in the mouse for the other buttons, are Kailh Red switches.

those stock Teflon skates are so painful to look at, after taking the mouse feet off you should almost always buy new and better set instead of reusing the original mouse feet.

l u can compare the honeywell switch with any ohter switch. u will notice it is by far the lightest. Noboy has ever measured the spring force of it on utube, but it is self evident that itis the lightest if u try them

It's true. I used to have both keyboard and mouse from Logitech. The mouse is too often being double-clicky and the space on keyboard also double input. I get rid of them. Never go back.

To think how many good mouse go to waste just cuz of those silly poorly built Omron switches & their fast clicking issues.

I've had my g305 for over 13 months now and it hasn't developed any double clicking issues so far. I'm still swapping the switches to these Kailh silent switches as the stock ones are quite loud and stiff.

you dont actually need a solder sucker to do this, you can actually just place a line of solder and heat the entire thing up if you're jank like me

You've inspired me to get the kailh silent microswitches. They sound like what I remember Microsoft Intellimouses were like (at least the side buttons because I think the actual left/right used omron microswitches).
