Katrina definitely was the mind behind this abuse of her daughter. The “abuser” Jose had more emotions than she did as if he did this because Katrina wanted him too while she trying to play victim. Also did he sexually assault her? Because why did she have bruises in between her thighs? They both should get the same punishment..I feel so sorry for Mercedes and unfortunately she had to leave this earth to get away from this abuse! But the abusers got to meet their maker!!!

Listening to this poor baby girl crying… my heart is completely broken. This demonic beast & the mom too deserves the death penalty! She allowed him to torture her own baby! Our laws need to change to protect these poor, defenseless children from these disgusting fiends.

She recites a laundry list of horrific punishments Jose inflicted on Mercedes, IN HER PRESENCE, like she’s reeling off a shopping list. She’s worse than he is because she handed him her child on a platter & just stood by & allowed him to torture her repeatedly, for days. Then she sent Mercedes with him to be punished, on her own, for a ‘sleepover’ KNOWING his methods. A mother protects their children & does anything possible to keep them safe, secure & happy. She conceived, carried & gave birth but she IS NOT a mother. There are no words to adequately describe such evil. Her actions & inactions are inconceivable to me. RIP poor, sweet Mercedes.💔😢🌹

Mercedes didn’t ‘pass away’, she was MURDERED! Omg poor Jordan witnessed her sister’s torture. How horrifying! She’ll NEVER forget & will have to live with those images & memories her entire life. No amount of therapy will ever erase the unimaginable experiences she was forced to endure. I hope she is loved & gets to live the best life she possibly can.💔😢

I need to hug my children & grandchildren so badly after watching this. I’m so sad that Mercedes never got to feel that wonderfully warm feeling of an embrace like no other, being wrapped in your mum’s arms knowing that you are the centre of her universe, super special & so very loved.💔😢

I wonder if it would be a reason for him to appeal becaus Katrina was mouthing during one of the sidebars "Im sorry" in the direction of where her family members were seated. I dont think she was to have any communication with anyone but the prosecuter ,judge and defense.

Anyone who puts a man before the well-being and safety isn't a mother. Everyone failed these children. CPS. The police. Neighbors who reported abuse they did nothing. Both of them are evil they should've gotten life no parole.

Why didn’t the school contact DCS when the kids didn’t show up for school? CPS failed these children! The mother and Jose both deserve the DP!
