The show Kingdom literally gave me some new insight on life. That show is so deep. Great acting and script. Tons of love and respect for Frank Grillo. Dude is truly a beast. Super intelligent as well. Keep it man, definitely an inspiration. Def a great podcast too.

Such a great interview. I actually worked with franks brother in Montana and he was a great soul. He was open about his drinking and being free of it and every time I saw him he tried to be upbeat. I was heartbroken when I found out he passed.

So I only found out about your podcast a couple of months ago but since then I have listened to probably 100 episodes. I just want to say you have had some great guests but Frank really surprised me on how open he was probably my favorite next to Bob Saget. I just want to say thanks to you for this podcast I like so many others have had my life changed by hearing all the stories from you and people I admire as actors and humans. I have recently joined better help because of y'all and already feel like this weight has been lifted off me. Like you I grew up in a house that therapy was not something men do and if it had not been for listening here I may have never changed my opinion. Anyway just wanted to thank you for all you do and say keep up the great work!

Frank always plays a great trailer trash character. You see he’s on the movie, and you are like good this guy is gonna do it up so great you hate him but you love him for it.

You can tell he came up in a household without being even middle of the middle class. “They started paying me money I never thought I would make, so I did as much as I could do. I mean, how long are they going to keep paying me?” As a construction worker that would pray for prevailing wage jobs, that segment hit home.

Always love Grillo and I've seen most of his movies! He's the guy I want to be in my 50s.... I'm 46 right now 😅

Frank is a decent character actor. A lot of his roles are very similar not unlike Statham but Frank's movies are more enjoyable. I agree that Wheelman is an awesome movie and Boss Level as well is another favourite of mine. Frank is a tough but classy guy and seems like good people, someone you would want to be friends with in Hollywood even if it was just to keep your head on straight. Great interview.

Depression is real man anybody going through it I'm sorry and understand it I was never really a depressed person but ever since I had covid I've been in the darkest place in my entire life every morning I wake up I'm more depressed than I was the last I wake up with the worst thoughts ever now especially the past few months I'm trying to stay positive but it only works so much I had covid I started getting a little better and then like a month later I couldn't breathe my heart feels like Its jumping out of my chest I've been seeing cardiologist pulmonologist neurologist Primary Care long covid sections in hospitals and they can't seem to fully diagnose me been in and out of the hospital about 10 times been dealing with this for almost a year-and-a-half blood pressure is uncontrollable I have to wear a watch if I press the button that sends an ambulance to me because of my health and I have a help monitor in my living room and have to check my blood pressure multiple times a day I'm on all kinds of medicine but it doesn't fix nothing some days I shake so bad that I look like a fish flopping around I'm as pale as a ghost Highway 130 when I weighed 164 this is all from covid and the vaccine I can't get a diagnosis it even affected my brain everyday I have trouble breathing I have trouble talking I have trouble thinking straight I'm dizzy and lightheaded all the time I see double sometimes when I go to Bend down everytime I come back up I feel like I'm going to faint I actually fainted three times I get chest pain almost every other day I can't really go out in the heat because I was recommended to stay out of it because of my condition same thing when it's too cold can't control my heart rate I have palpitations also known as tachycardia possible A-fiband I'm only 28 years old I basically lost my job over this my mom has cancer for the second time and no income coming in it's been one of the roughest years of my life I mean I always struggled with anxiety like major anxiety but health-wise I was basically okay before I got sick besides IBS I'm still trying to be as positive as I can but it only goes so far until the negative thoughts start to take over and it's only getting worse me personally I just want my life back that's all that I keep trying and trying and trying and it just doesn't seem to want to give I give you a lot of respect for talking about depression because it needs to be talked about more it's a disease it's serious eats people alive it's actually eating me alive right now as I'm texting this I appreciate you big-time for bringing up the topic of depression especially in this country I feel like it's not talked about enough I never really understood depression before I knew about it I had friends that took their lives but I never really quite understood it until now we tend to think we're invincible and in control until we suddenly realize we're not like for me I found out a year-and-a-half ago that I'm not in control of nothing you're hundred percent right about everything you just said about depression

Wheelman is a fantastic film, have watched it multiple times. Great podcast , one of my favorite actors... very down to earth in real life. Bossman with mel gibson is class also.
