ОтветитьThis explains why I can't put on weight no matter how much I eat. I love fat food and I always ate crazy amounts, preferably at once because I don't like preparing meals. So unintentionally I was doing keto diet and intermittent fasting at the same time. I always have so much energy I can't stay seated for 10 minutes straight. I thought I had ADHD. Constant fidgeting made me loose weight even faster:( I have no idea how to put on weight, I know it's better than being fat but I really want to gain 17 lb:(

ОтветитьI lost 23 pounds in 4 months after starting the carnivore diet. I emilinated all plants and stay as close to zero carbs as possible. While doing keto, I hit a weight loss stall and felt a little bloated. Once dropping the plants, the health benefits accelerated. Stopping caffeine was the final step and I'm able to sleep so soundly and feel restored.

I'm doing a 1-meal a day keto eating about 200 grams of meat every day. (fish, red meat, chicken). Do I have to eat meat every single day to stay in ketosis? Thinking in terms of "too much of anything is poison", can I have just eggs instead of meat, or better yet, have a day without any protein? Thanks.

ОтветитьWithout knowing the term that's exactly my diet since over 10 years and yet in my 40's I've gained 15 kg and can't lose them despite exercise, no alcohol, no sugar, taking supplements still zero weight loss. Before that I was never eating super unhealthy but was also never looking how much I was eating, zero exercise and I was gaining 05-1kg pro 10 years which is basically nothing.

ОтветитьHere's a question. Signs of sugar in the urine are taken as signs of a serious disorder. I'm wondering why are signs of ketones in the urine taken as a reliable measure of desireble ketosis. Why would the body reject ketones? Is the excess temporary, and can you be using ketones as your primary energy source and not show evidence in the urine?
