Can’t wait to go back

Just came back from Sicily and it was the worst vacation of my life. I’ve been to Rome last year and fell in love with the city, the people, their gelato and food, but Sicily… totally different. Some people were very rude. A guy who worked at a gas station spilled benzine on my fiancé after we politely asked for help because the pump was not working, and started to laugh as nothing happened and fist bumped his friends after that. There is so much filth, especially in Catania. The traffic and how rude people are.. it’s like driving blindfolded after drinking 10 shots, and all you can do it’s hope for the best! The only city we loved was Taormina and that’s about it. Will not go again to Sicily. Ever.

After flying into Palermo’s airport, I’ll be taking the train to Capo d’Orlando, rent a car to Naso, back to Capo for some time and then the train to Taormina and then Syracusa. That’s just for starters. Then there’s Pompeii, Bologna and Milan.
