LG OLED screens when stored for more than a year without opening do they damage?

i have had the 42" version for a few months now and im using it as a PC monitor. this thing is a real beauty! definitely the best "monitor" ive ever had or seen.

Which light strips do you use?

My only worry is the burn in. I usually play roughly 4-5 hours. Is that a problem for burn in?
Also im stuck between getting this or sony a80j.

how does reading documents and plain websites look on this one? Is the text blurry or does the background light interrupts your attention?

when we were kids we play games on console
when we are in our teens we all jumped on the pc master race bandwagon
then when we grew up, married and became a dad, we went back to console
but this time with some seriously high end expensive tv+sound system lol

Oled still not bright enough.

If you haven't got a soundbar yet, please go for a SoundCore (hands down)! The best and I am not regretting it, legit bought 2 after the first purchase because I had to accommodate for the other tele's in my house!

65C2 This is one of those things you buy two of and keep one in a vacuum sealed box for fifty years. That's when we'll say and agree.. They don't make it like that anymore.

My lg g1 is been more than 2 years now using mainly as a monitor on pc. This shiet is a blast. Worth paying 4k for 77 inch monitor.

Anyone Experienced slow downs of the system after some updates? I heard its kinda of a problem?

Are you facing any issues with the Bluetooth connection to your earbuds? Mine seems to be cutting out every once in a while and I lose about 2 secs of audio. Do you know what i can do to fix that?

Can someone help? I'll try to explain best I can. Im new to OLED, I'd like to know if you aim the pointer for e.g, too far up or too far down into the screen - is it supposed to mess up / misallign the direction of the arrow? So even when I next point it to the middle of the screen while holding remote dead straight, the arrow kinda ends up anywhere but the middle unless I turn the pointer arrow off & on again to make it normal. I hate it

I’m puzzled on how my 65 inch B2 gets brighter that my 77 inch C2. Could it be due to the size?

Thank you for the review, I'm excited about this TV now. As for soundbars, I still think does not do a good job as a full stereo.

While pricey, nothing beats the Phillips Hue playbar for light strip on the back of the tv.

I just picked up a 55" C2 floor model on sale. Still more than I was planning to spend but it only took about 45 seconds of watching it in action to know I needed it in my life.

Upgraded from a 46" 1080p LCD set that's probably around 15 years old now, and the difference is just ridiculous. GF and I are couch co-opping Borderlands 3 and it's like a whole different game.

I just got a c2 last week Friday I love this TV out the box 📦 last LG TV I had was was a 1080P TV that i bought back in 2014 I replaced the 1080p LG with a Sony x900e well the LG TV is still running my sony tv don't even work anymore I will stick with LG for now on

I have a 65 inch OLED. It is less than 4 years old and even though I do not watch anything with a static display the panel has serious burn. Green blob in the center, each side of center, below the center, and starting to come up across the entire bottom across the board, looking like sharp, triangular shark teeth. This is not all burn in, as seen at the bottom. This is bad panel. LG only warrants the TV for one year!!! LG OLED is a gamble. Pay thousands and roll the dice.

I have the 48 inch - it’s my first Oled. I can’t stop messing with the color sets. I never can get a consistent picture. I just wonder if it’s just strictly content and sources? This drives me crazy? please let me know if you have any advice.

Dude soundbars are complete trash. Do yourself a favour and get a quality surround setup. Sound is literally 50% of the experience. Don't cheap out on it.

Since this Tav is so heavy on features for gamers, would it be a waste for someone who doesn't play the games at all? Are there any competitors that are more suited for cinephiles?

Hello bro I bought lg c2 48 inch recently it's audio is too low , I have to use AI sound pro + 50+ or sometimes 80-100 volume in many content too in some 40 is fine but my friends saying it's defective as they don't keep volume more than 20 I complained to LG and they changed speaker but volume is still the same what should I do now it's only one week of purchase and I am complaining from day 1

great video. I just wanted to say though- you can enjoy couch gaming with a PC on the C2. I do it all the time. It’s easier to couch game on PC than ever. Easy to connect controller and headset , and you still get the crazy customization and visuals that come with PC gaming.

I managed to score a Samsung QN900b at the same price as this one. That massive discount is delicious but I'm considering returning it and getting this one anyway since it seems superior for 4k. I don't use native 8k. Do you have any thoughts on the 900b compared to this?

I always laugh inside when someone says that they prefer consoles over PC because "They can melt into their couch" instead of sitting at a desk. Well newsflash: You can connect a controller to a PC too....
