What's the best GIN on a budget? (Liquor under $25)

As most of you know, Gunwpowder is always our go-to gin. That said, we wanted to give you some options at a lower price point!

Why do you like gunpowder gin?

If you want good quality at an affordable price nothing beats Beefeater. Bombay is overpriced compared to the Beefeater.

The only problems that I have with your assessments is that you're assuming or leading other people to assume that gin is gin. Bombay is a London dry gin, Breckenridge is American and gunpowder is irish. They all have different taste profiles and strengths.

So, I first had Bombay when I was on a hike with a buddy. I was blown away, because it was like I was drinking the pines along our hike. I dubbed it the liquor of the forest after that day. Call me a weirdo, but I LOVE the fresh taste of the pines! I can’t be the only one.

Hey try thirteenth colony gin. They usually make whisky but apparently their gin is really good and it's like $15

Take the Bombay, walk to the trash can and drop it in. Lol. It’s awful. Sipsmith and Highclere are my go to.

Beefeater and Gordon’s are 2 stalwarts for me. Sapphire is phenomenal in certain drinks but not as versatile IMO. I do like Roku in that regard as well.

Tanqueray is actually one of my favorites. But I mix it and I like to drink pine trees.

The one he liked the best was actually the Bombay. If you look back at the video, the dad pours Bombay in the glass with vertical grooves. Breckenridge is in the horizontal glass and Tanqueray is in the plain glass.

Quick answer is no gin is good gin all tastes like shit mixed with paint thinner

You guys should head over to the East and try the Japanese Gin, Roku. Suntory makes it. Just picked it up today for $24 and it is gooood👍!

Breckenridge Gin is my absolute favorite gin. It has just enough juniper that it feels like sitting in the mountains during a gentle rain. ( im a total Coloradan) I love it so much.
Though I haven't been able to get my hands on the Gunpowder gin which I'm itching too. I want to see how that compares.

Curious what John and John think about Suntory Roku

My favorite is Beefeater but i did like Gunpowder as i had a bottle last year. Nowadays I keep a Nordes bottle in my home bar as well.

Taaka...from Sazerac, $12 for a handle, you'd think something that cheap would be offputting...nope!

Would love to see a bar tour video. Tools mixers and basic bottles.

Wiz khalifa used to religiously drink bombay gin (not sure if he still does but deffinitely used too) and it goes well with lemonade.

Review barefoot fruitscato!! Stuff is so tasty. Blueberry is my favorite.
