In all seriousness, this product looks like it would work fine had they not made it out of rigid plastic. If it had actual broom bristles, I think it could work quite well. Also a cover for the dart collector.

Every time it jams it feels painful. I'd imagine it can rip apart the foam. I'm curious about carpet or astroturf vs hard flooring. Hard flooring is always slick, carpet or turf would add some texture and soft carpet would add some give. Still though I'd imagine anytime it jams it will possibly rip some foam.
