These two actors are so good!! It probably captured both their feelings accurately. It’s hard not to absolutely hate Charles in this seen but the ends tells it all. He never wanted Diana or the marriage. He loved someone else from the beginning and Diana took the brunt of his abuse. Emma did such a lovely job with this role, she embodied it wholly, you can tell it meant a lot to her. the mannerisms are on point, she clearly took time to study Diana, and it payed off tremendously, she truly embodied the way we feel about Diana, and why she touches our heart, hats off to her and all the other amazing actors in this lovely show, truly!
