Scene entails Allie talking to his eldest son Charlie about his woes and disappointment with corporate America in the 1980s, his disdain for the current state America is in, and it's current values, that he does not appreciate.
Then we follow Allie and Charlie into a hardware store, where Allie continues his disdain, which evolves into a rant of frustration. Culminating into an altercation with a retail assistant who works in the hardware store.
